I want to hear from the people who make events happen.

DJs, bartenders, bottle service girls, security professionals, photographers, videographers, models, creators, and the promoters, club owners, lounge owners and event organizers booking them.

Got 20 minutes for a conversation? I’d love to hear about your experience getting booked or hiring people: what works, what gets frustrating, and what you wish were easier.

Whether you’re just starting or you’ve been doing this for years, I want your perspective.

DM me “LET’S TALK” with what you do and your city.

Know someone I should speak with? Tag them or send this their way. I appreciate the connections. by @mmmxv

Oceanside, CA | 67 HOURS

I didn’t go to Oceanside to do more.

I went there to do less.

Part of my PTO this summer was spent in Oceanside. People have asked what I did.

Honestly… not much.

I spent most of my time by the pool.

No itinerary. No pressure to make every hour productive. I simply wanted to step away from Los Angeles, step away from work, and spend a few days alone with my thoughts.

Sometimes doing absolutely nothing is exactly what the soul needs.

The drive down the coast with Naomi became part of the experience. Just me, the road, the sound of a flat six behind me, and enough silence to hear my own thoughts again. Somewhere along that drive I reflected on everything I’ve accomplished, everything I’ve survived, and the man I’m still becoming.

Every so often I’d glance over at the passenger seat.

Empty.

That moment reminded me that solitude and companionship aren’t opposites. We need both. Time alone teaches us who we are. The right person reminds us we don’t have to carry life alone.

Being away also made me appreciate Los Angeles differently. For all of its imperfections, it’s one of the few places where people truly believe they can become whoever they choose to be. It’s chaotic, inspiring, exhausting, and beautiful all at once. In many ways, Los Angeles feels less like a city and more like an idea that became reality because enough people believed in it.

What I’ll remember most, though, were the conversations.

Watching people work through their peak season reminded me of my own career. Patience, kindness, and a genuine conversation can leave a bigger impression than we realize.

It’s funny how often we give someone advice, only to realize we’re hearing exactly what we needed ourselves.

Maybe that’s God.

Maybe He speaks through the conversations we never planned to have, gently reminding us that the wisdom we’re searching for has been within us all along.

I came to Oceanside looking for rest.

I left with perspective.

Sometimes doing less allows us to hear what life has been trying to tell us all along. taken in Oceanside, California by @mmmxv

The last few months have been some of the hardest of my life.

Last night’s new moon gave me a moment to reflect on everything that’s happened. Today, I’m celebrating 900 days sober.

Nine hundred days of choosing healing over escape. Nine hundred days of trusting God instead of returning to old habits.

If I had to describe my mind lately, it’d be the last slide in this carousel. Complete chaos. Just trying to protect my peace, stay focused on my purpose, and not allow people or circumstances to pull me off the path God has for me.

In the middle of all of that, I bought myself the car I’ve dreamed about for almost twenty years. A Porsche 911 997.1 Carrera S.

It isn’t just a car to me. It’s a reminder that discipline, faith, and consistency eventually bear fruit.

A little over a month ago, I also started therapy. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Sometimes you’ve read the books, built the habits, practiced discipline, and used every tool you have. Sometimes you need another tool, and there’s strength in asking for help.

The stress of life and work could have pushed me back toward alcohol, but instead I chose growth. I chose healing. I chose God.

I named my car Naomi, a Hebrew name meaning pleasantness and delight. Every time I drive her, I’m reminded that joy still exists, even after difficult seasons.

As we head into summer, I’m choosing gratitude over bitterness and faith over fear.

If you’re in a hard season right now, don’t give up. It always gets better.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” — Isaiah 43:2

Sending everyone love this summer. Keep going. You’re stronger than you think.

Paris, France | 55 HOURS

Paris began my year in the most unexpected way. A spontaneous invitation, accepted without hesitation. I spent just 55 hours there, yet those hours carried a sense of fullness that far exceeded the time itself.

Upon landing, I was met by a rainbow, something I had not seen in years. It felt less coincidental than declarative, as if the city was offering a quiet affirmation before I had even arrived. That feeling followed me to my hotel, where I was assigned a room on the third floor. When I noticed the number 333 on the key, it felt like the tone of the experience had already been established.

I did not attend any fashion shows during this trip. The timing simply did not allow for it, as my arrival and departure fell on show days. Still, nothing felt missed. Paris has a way of rewarding presence more than planning.

I spent time seated outside cafés, coffee in hand, a cigar lit, talking about art and life with a close friend. We spoke at length about vision, about the projects we are eager to bring into the world this year, and about the kind of future we are intentionally building. Those conversations unfolded naturally, unhurried, in the way only Paris seems to allow.

Throughout the trip, I crossed paths with friends from California and New York, all converging in the same city at the same moment. I found myself meeting people I had quietly hoped to see before I ever arrived. Conversations were rich. Perspective was exchanged. Energy flowed freely. It felt reciprocal, grounding, and deeply affirming.

Everything that is romantic about Paris for creatives was present in those 55 hours. The serendipity. The ease. The way moments linger long after they pass. I did not see everyone I hoped to see, and that feels less like a loss and more like an invitation to return. Next time, with more time. More space. More room to connect.

I am grateful I chose to go.
Fifty-five hours in Paris was beautiful.

Tonight marks two years of sobriety.

I had this long essay I wrote about the two years of sobriety but fuck all that. Lol

Sobriety is not my identity, but it is a choice I have made every day for the past two years. I do want to say that as long as we stay true to who we are and move through life authentically, the right people will find us. The right people will accept us. We find our tribes when we stop pretending.

I am thankful for everyone who has continued to support me, stand by me, and champion me through all seasons and choices in life. Your presence and consistency mean more to me than you know.

Grateful, grounded, and moving forward with intention.

Now look through this random set. Lol taken in Around The World by @mmmxv

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7–9 taken in Joshua Tree, California by @mmmxv

“I came, I saw, I conquered.” – Julius Caesar

$583,054.50 in sales. Three months in East Hampton. What was once thought impossible, I turned into reality.

Sometimes in life, you have to leap without knowing where you’ll land. You have to take the risk, bet on yourself, and trust the work you’ve put in. This summer, I did exactly that — I jumped, I believed, and I won.

Now, I’m back in Los Angeles, carrying the momentum forward. taken in East Hampton, New York by @mmmxv
