“Hopper’s Cabin” quilt top is together 🥳 started in January, distracted until now. 😉 The yellow was supposed to be waffles 🧇 but Cole saw the sunrise with orange sparkling reflections on the water. So, I like that too. Its 100x100”. You guys, I had to share this pic of my niece 💕 on a verrrry old quilt of mine. Isn’t she just precious?! And perfect?! 💘 (One of the first I made-12 years ago Flickr pic at the end.) She hasn’t received her new quilt yet- but it is finished and I can’t wait to deliver it to her in less than a week!!
Sometimes simple is the best, I did make two quilts 🥴and the first one just didn’t do it for me... I can definitely overthink, over-complicate a quilt pattern and she doesn’t need anything crazy. The simple nine patch is always a winner. 🏆
Also, my quilt holder has grown, almost ten years between the Eli pics. I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of looking through photos on this last day of school. 💙 I guess it is #throwbackthursdayy
