Red capsicums are looking seriously good right now ❤️

We started at the Melbourne Market with Dom from @MountainFreshwholesale, one of the wholesalers helping get fresh produce out to local fruit and veg shops across Victoria.

Then we headed to @MnMFruit in @Prestonmarketau where Dom shared a few easy ideas for making the most of them at home.

That market-to-store connection is part of what makes shopping local so good. Fresh produce, familiar faces, and people who know what’s worth taking home.

Find your nearest A better choice! retailer using the store locator linked in our bio. 🍎

We are loving this salad on repeat right now! Sweet, juicy blood oranges from South Australia paired with crisp fennel straight from Werribee.
Fresh, vibrant and absolutely delicious.
Just add a little olive oil, a splash of white wine vinegar and a touch of salt!

These amazing Venus blood oranges are only in season for a limited time, so get yours before they’re gone! 🍊🤍 taken in Preston Market by @mnmfruit

It was a privilege to again be invited to Venus Citrus farms in Loxton, South Australia. We got to visit their facility and learn more about the premium quality citrus they supply us with.
From the orchard to the packing sheds, the passion, dedication and commitment they put into their processes is outstanding.
Thank you to @louis.melbourne and @venuscitrus for organising.
We are excited to continue to stock a large range of this amazing citrus for our customers, in store now! 🍊🍊🍊 by @mnmfruit

We stopped by @mnmfruit at @prestonmarketau to chat with the team about their winter favourites, from go-to veg and warming soups to the seasonal produce they’re loving right now 🥕🥣

Dom also gave clementine mandarins a special mention, sharing that they’re in season now and super juicy 🍊

If you’re visiting Preston Market, pop into MnM Fruit and see what’s fresh this season. Colourful produce, local knowledge, and plenty of winter inspiration, now that’s A better choice! 🛒💚

Tuscan kale is one of our favourite winter vegetables. It’s versatile and delicious and has a more earthy taste compared to curly kale. It can be simply sautéed, used in salads, made into crispy chips or even juiced. Tuscan kale is full of nutrients, low in calories, packed with vitamins, antioxidants, calcium and fibre. Do yourself a favour, come in and grab a fresh bunch of tuscan kale and try Dom’s recipe.
**Available upon checkout, just ask our friendly staff!!🥬 🥬🥬 taken in Preston Market by @mnmfruit
