Be sure to spend some time in “Breathing Space” in Nelson Hall entry lobby — it’s an installation inside a MAVpod by visiting artist Alyssa Baguss @alyssabaguss as part of her exhibition “This Might Be Nice” in the Conkling Gallery. Breathing Space is a plant-filled, immersive environment for rest and sensory connection. Alyssa is seen here installing the work, along with a visitor showing off her new pressed penny from the gallery!

Happy first day of the semester! We are thrilled to have the show “This Might Be Nice” by Alyssa Baguss in the Conkling Gallery, Nelson Hall 139. @alyssabaguss
Come check out this interactive and exciting exhibition. There are many surprises! Try “Well Wishing” and see what a stranger wishes for you, then leave a wish for someone else. Maybe practice your cursive with some mantras in “Repeatedly,” or play a specialized game of Guess Who.

Exhibition through Sept. 25
Artist Talk Sept 15, 6-7pm, Armstrong 101
Reception to follow in gallery.
