You may have seen our stories but we wanna formally Introduce Sgt Pepe to the world! We rescued Pepe from a shelter in Texas and we love having him at our home so much. He’s so playful and cute but also loves to snuggle all the time and we’re so happy to have him. by @mobreza4

Hey! Thank you everyone so much for all the birthday wishes! I had such a great birthday week with Kelly and I’m so appreciate of everyone who reached out to wish me a happy day!

To be honest i have been feeling a bit existential about turning 30 because of all the stereotypes about hitting your 30s (especially as a musician) but after a lot of reflection i realized that i’m so proud of my 20s and i’m excited for what this next decade will bring.

I started the first 5 years of my 20s being alcohol free and in a relationship that never felt right and once both ended i felt as if my life really started. Other big changes in my life really pushed me to become a stronger version of myself such as my mom surviving covid/a coma, removing toxic people from my life, Going to music school/becoming a music teacher and so much more really helped me become the person i am today.

I’m so grateful that i got to play some really special shows in my 20s with big personal accomplishments like opening for bands i’ve looked up to for years with Dysfunktone across the Northeast and even having members of my favorite bands like Dopapod and Tauk sitting in with us!

Not only did i get to play so many special shows with Dysfunktone but i even got to play some amazing shows with other bands like Drop The 4, Ernie and Bunktown Falls and so many more friends who have let me play music with them these past few years.
I’m so grateful to be in this Music Community that sometimes feels scary but at the end of the day i feel so much support and love from friends/fans/other bands.

i got to meet some really awesome people through music including my girlfriend Kelly who i met through both of us seeing our friend’s bands and magically finding each other. Since getting to be with her, i’ve learned so much about life/myself, how to be a good companion and couldn’t ask for a better partner through this crazy life.

So i wanna say thank you to everyone who made an impact on me this past 10 years and i’m excited for these next 10! by @mobreza4

Been a while since i worked on some classical stuff so I learned how to play my favorite part of “Waltz Of The Flowers” (Tchaikovsky) and it always makes me think of @jelllymaa 🌺 by @mobreza4

So I learned the keyboard part from “Mystic Brew/Electric Relaxation” and wanted to make a video but then decided it would be fun to recreate the entire “Electric Relaxation” beat.
I programmed the drums/bass and did some quiet adlibs in combination with all the parts i filmed in this video.

This has always been one of my favorite beats of all time and it was so fun to try to recreate it from scratch and jam over it.

Getting to play @greatsouthbaymusicfestival with my @bunktownfalls homies last Thursday + getting to see the new @sublime lineup was so sick.

I’m so grateful to get to play music with so many friends and getting to play the same day as Sublime was a wild experience after playing so many sublime covers for years as a teenager

Also big shoutout to @photolitsina for the amazing photos! 📸 by @mobreza4

Wow, Getting to play with the @residualgroove guys this Saturday was so fun. These dudes are such monster musicians and such great guys, it was an honor to play one of their tunes “Cells” and then jam into “Carry On My Wayward Son” !

I’ve been wanting to play this song live since i was a kid and it was so fun to get to play it with them at @beaus_bar

If you don’t already know these guys definitely check them out! Can’t wait to see them and play together again sometime by @mobreza4
