(Ad) The advent calendar pre-orders are live! I know it’s early, and we don’t want to think of December just yet, but making the advent calendar takes time, and I need the pre-orders both to gauge how many to make and also to pay for the manufacturing!🫡 Consider it a team effort!😂 Go get your Early Bird discount before September 8th!!❤️ #shopupdate #stickershop #adventcalendar by @mochibujo

October cover page in my bullet journal🤭🖤 I’m playing around with black backgrounds on my stickers this month! It is such a cool look, I’m obsessed with it!😍 I’m using a lot of my own stickers in this setup, which you can actually download and print out yourself over on my Patreon! There’s a version without the black background as well, in case you want to save on the extra ink😬🖤 #bulletjournal #bujoideas #blackoutjournal #bujolife by @mochibujo

Today I want to show you some details from my art studio / home office / shop HQ! This room is a lot of things, but tidy and perfect is not one of them. It’s small, no walls are straight, and it used to be a kitchen when this building was built in the 1930s. It’s my studio, but it’s also my boyfriend’s gaming room. We share one desk and one chair - there isn’t room for two desks and chairs😅 So here are some details from this little room where I spend most of my time!

I bought this antique letterpress drawer on Finn (the Norwegian version of Marketplace or Craigslist), and it’s perfect for my wooden stamps! Unfortunately it can’t fit all of them, so I just have a few here, and the rest of the stamps are sitting in drawers.

I have a lot of washi tapes and PET tapes, and a selection of them are displayed in my Billy bookshelf on these nail polish display stands I got off of Amazon. I originally used these for markets and cons, but they are terrible to dismantle and assemble, so I replaced them with some that are way more convenient. So now I’m using the old ones as washi tape display.

A shelf with trinkets and ✨stuff✨. This is a mix of my and my boyfriend’s stuff, but I guess it’s mostly mine😂 I also keep my bullet journal and reading journal here most of the time. I also have a Shopify counter that’s supposed to display the amount of orders I’ve received this year, but it’s currently not working. Apparently it only works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and our Wi-Fi only has 5 GHz🤠 There are ways to resolve this, but it has not been at the top of my priority list. Hopefully soon though, it looks pretty sad like this😂

I keep all of my shop in this room. Most of it (except packaging supplies) fits in a large Billy bookshelf (I have three in here haha). This shelf contains only vinyl stickers. These are leftover stickers from Patreon happy mail over the years, and although they are in the shop, they sell a lot slower than my regular shop items because they’re only available for purchase for my Patreon members. There’s a Secret Shop just for them!

While not an ideal setup, it works well. I got this beautiful rococo style dresses off of Finn, from a lady by @mochibujo

For September I tested out a new layout for my weekly spreads, and rather than just doing one week at a time, I did the same layout for the entire month. A few years ago I bought the Forest Planner from @nicole.josephine (I think the first edition), and I basically copied the layout of the weekly spreads in the planner to my A5 notebook. This layout spans two spreads per week, so there’s a lot of room for decoration and writing - both to do lists and diary sections. I’ve really enjoyed this layout! I got to use my own stickers (digital files can be downloaded from my Patreon), stickers from @nicole.josephine , washi paper and washi tape from @papermonogatari and washi tape from @notebook_therapy 🍂 you can use my code MOCHIBUJO10 for 10% off Notebook Therapy🧡

This year I’ve split my reading journal into chapters by quarters. So here comes a flip-through of the books I read in the first quarter, as well as a quick little review of the books.

I make all my reading journal spreads over on my YouTube channel, and I talk about the books more in-depth there as well. There’s a link in my bio if you’re interested in that!

Drop your own experiences in the comments, and please let me know if you have any book recommendations!🥰 #readingjournal

My monthly dashboard/overview for September!🦌 I can’t get enough of the fall forest theme, it’s just so aesthetically pleasing! Maybe all year can be fall themed in my bullet journal😂

After having made my own bullet journals for a decade, you bet I have SO many ideas for your October setups! These are perfect for spooky season, or any time you want to go for a mystical, darker vibe in your journal. Which one would you like to try?? And would you like to see a version with less spooky themes?👀 #bujoideas #bulletjournalideas #bulletjournal by @mochibujo

What do you mean September is almost at an end?! It flew by way too fast, and I’m not ok. Somehow this month just disappeared. It’s been quite a month though! I’m going to show you more of my September bullet journal spreads, don’t worry😍 #bujoideas #bulletjournal #creativejournaling by @mochibujo

Today I turn 33 years old🥳 I always get a bit nostalgic on my birthday. Life looked so different 10 years ago! I’m so proud of all of my growth over the past decade. I feel more secure in my own person than I ever have before, and it just shows me that getting older isn’t scary, it’s beautiful🥰 #growth #personalgrowth #consistency by @mochibujo

Social media isn’t real, we all know this deep down, but we need to be reminded. I see all these creators and businesses thrive and grow and do SO well, and sometimes I catch myself feeling bad that it’s not me. “I wish I could be as successful as them”. But the truth is, everyone struggles.

I didn’t tell you guys when I got a parking ticket for a lazy parking I did one night, or when a bill went to collections because I forgot to open the letter.

I didn’t tell you when I spent $1000 on stickers that one time and barely sold any of them. I don’t share everything - nobody does!

So here, please enjoy some of my recent flops haha!
