Which one’s your favorite? I’ve never had this many washi tapes in the shop all at once before! Seeing your response to them has been so amazing, because I’ve been so nervous about this launch! Thoughts like «what if nobody likes them» or «what if nobody buys them and I wasted thousands of Euros» have been swirling in my head for the past couple of months, but it turns out, you DO like them! And that makes me sooo happy!🥹 It’s giving me the courage to make more!💪 #washitape #smallbusiness #stationeryhaul #stationeryaddict by @ikigaipapir

This could be your view👀 The Capybara Summer collection is finally here, and I have to admit, it’s kind of flying off the shelves! I’m so grateful to everyone who has placed an order so far, and I’m packing orders and making my June plan with me YouTube video as we speak! This week is super hectic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way🥰 #smallbusiness #stickershop #stationeryhaul #shopupdate by @ikigaipapir

Let’s do the things I don’t want to do!🤠 my office is overdue for a big organization session, and I’m starting small because it’s overwhelming. These mini sticker packs aren’t too numerous, and they’re also easy to organize and store, so they were first on the agenda. What should I organize next?😵‍💫 #artstudio #smallbusiness #stickershop #organizationtips by @ikigaipapir

(Ad) Four years ago I had this brilliant idea that I wanted to make an advent calendar in my shop. I’d been running my little sticker shop for a couple of years, and I wanted to expand and try making new products, but it was scary, overwhelming and expensive, and I just didn’t know where to start.

I took the leap and took pre-orders for the advent calendar without even having the art drawn. From the outside I probably looked confident, but on the inside I was panicking. But seeing so many of you trusting me with this, and taking a chance on a type of product I’d never done before, gave me so much courage and creative energy, and it came together, somehow. I’d just moved into a new apartment, barely had furniture, and my friend Hanna helped me so much.

The second year was even crazier. I’d taken in Margot the foster cat, and she had 6 kittens. I’m still not sure how I managed to get it all done, but I know I couldn’t have done it without my friends. They came by to help me pack advent calendars and play with the kittens, and somehow it came together. I’d learned so much from that first year, so it felt a lot less scary.

The third year was the biggest project of them all. I had issues with the production timeline, and even had to have the stickers for the calendar made TWICE because of production errors. It was a logistical nightmare!

But once again my friends came together, and we had so much room this time because I had rented an office space that year. We could all sit in a large meeting room and work like we were factory workers.

And that brings us to the fourth year, this year. I’m more ahead of schedule than I’ve ever been, because I don’t want a repeat of last year. I’ve bought an apartment and moved my office back home. My boyfriend moved in with me a month ago or so. So many wonderful things are happening! Most of all I’m so excited for you to see this year’s advent calendar. It’s the best one yet! taken in Norway by @ikigaipapir

(Ad) The advent calendar pre-orders are live! I know it’s early, and we don’t want to think of December just yet, but making the advent calendar takes time, and I need the pre-orders both to gauge how many to make and also to pay for the manufacturing!🫡 Consider it a team effort!😂 Go get your Early Bird discount before September 8th!!❤️ #shopupdate #stickershop #adventcalendar by @ikigaipapir

In some EU countries, you have to pre-pay customs fees when you send mail, and the fee is €3 per product category/HS code. Even though I sent a bunch of orders before the rule came into effect (and the Norwegian postal service didn’t have their pre-pay tool set up yet), they rejected packages in Germany, and I had to send out around 15 replacements while waiting for the original packages to come back to me. Luckily they all did! I got a bunch of freebie stickers back that I’ve ran out of, so that’s kind of fun haha! Anyway, these things happen, and it’s just a part of running a business🤷‍♀️ #smallbusiness #stickershop #flops #recentflops by @ikigaipapir
