Using pokemon cards for doing a collage is the best things, because you can use the card for doing something that you like and still see it.

This is the new notebook from my last post.

The sunflower stickers are from @ikigaipapir

• Wild Rose by Roxanne Tully •

Got back into my cowboy era for a moment with the first 2 books of the Blue River Springs Series and this first book was so much fun!

The first couple is Wilder and Rose, and it's a boss x employee romance which I didn't expect in a cowboy romance. Anyway.... I loved them. My only critique is that I think Rose was portrayed to have this wild and unpredictable personality and she has but I think she is also a bit irresponsible... 🤣

Wilder was a very good and interesting MMC, he was very lovable and I really loved him. He's the typical grumpy boss that doesn't want to get to close to the FMC but he was really understanding with her especially after she messed up (and he was right).

I have really gotten away from journaling as much as I used to before working a chaotic 9-5. This month, I’m really locking in and trying to make sure I journal at the end of each week to just ease my way back into it.

Working my way up to doing daily pages in 2027!

Do you journal daily?

Starside by Alex Aster

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy five star for this book! Starside may just be my favourite book of the year 🤭 have you read it? There is so much action and intrigue! I did have some thoughts about it of course about things that didn’t make a ton of sense, but this book kept me entertained through the whole thing. The pacing was crazy! So many things happening one after another.

September reading update🍁✨️Swipe for the book review spreads📚 I read three books and decided to go into full autumn mode with my monthly reading journal cover! I used an entire sticker sheet from @ikigaipapir to decorate it, and I'm so happy with the outcome, this mushroom girl and her woodland sidekicks are lovely!😍🦊🍄✨️ My favorite read was the Knight and the Moth, but I also loved Rites of the Starling, there was an insane plot twist at the end and I did not see it coming at all! Though I have to say that I really look forward to book three, because so many questions were left unanswered👀 then there's the third book I read... Let's just say that Once Upon a Broken Heart is not for me and I will not continue that series. The book spread however is very cute, I think it matches perfectly the pink cover of the edition I read!💖💘

For September I tested out a new layout for my weekly spreads, and rather than just doing one week at a time, I did the same layout for the entire month. A few years ago I bought the Forest Planner from @nicole.josephine (I think the first edition), and I basically copied the layout of the weekly spreads in the planner to my A5 notebook. This layout spans two spreads per week, so there’s a lot of room for decoration and writing - both to do lists and diary sections. I’ve really enjoyed this layout! I got to use my own stickers (digital files can be downloaded from my Patreon), stickers from @nicole.josephine , washi paper and washi tape from @papermonogatari and washi tape from @notebook_therapy 🍂 you can use my code MOCHIBUJO10 for 10% off Notebook Therapy🧡

• What I read in September •

Such a cute cover spread for this month's books. This one was made with a tape from the newest collection from @thewashitapeshop , "Hello Autumn".

Loved how bright and colorful it turned out. I usually don't work a lot with yellow but it was so fun!
What books did you read this month?
