Two years ago yesterday, my life changed when I had an interview with my company. I remember I was just trying to keep it together that day because life happened and I didn’t get a chance to put on clothes appropriate for an interview so I went into it with the pale yellow T shirt I had on. Thankfully, my then boss and the CBMO looked past my appearance, saw me for who I was, the strategic thinking I could bring to the table and I received an offer soon after for my dream job. Now, I’m traveling for work in paradise. Grateful for that initial moment, grateful for this moment in time and grateful for you. Thanks for supporting me and being part of my journey of doing what I love💖✨

Week of firsts for baby @jarvis.the.pomsky :) he hit 30 lbs at 5 months, blowing past the estimated 20-25 lbs at adulthood 😂, lost his first baby tooth and has had the time of his life with new friends 🐶🐾 oh and on my end, I can apparently 🌘🚶🏻‍♀️ in 👠 now? Peep it in the reel and drop a 🔥😂

Group dynamics can be tough, especially when you encounter them in high stress MMI interviews for medical school. Remembering that you’re there to succeed as team and not taking anything personally will help you stand out as a well adjusted leader to hopefully get that A!

There comes a time when you are at a crossroads and you need to decide what brings meaning and fulfillment into your life. Do you want to take the path less traveled? Go towards what makes you the most afraid of failure? Leave it all out there knowing you tried your best every step of the way?

I thought about this for quite a while and came to the conclusion that in this one life I had, I would deeply regret not betting on myself by starting my own biotech and pharma consulting practice and working towards my dream of becoming a medical doctor.

I accepted I may encounter challenges and roadblocks on the way, but I knew I still needed to try even with the possibility of failure to master my fears of failure. Because what if I succeeded? How far could I go to help those who needed it most?

So I quietly focused on building these dreams the past few years and am finally excitedly sharing that I took the MCAT and got into med school! I'm so grateful to my friends and family who supported me as fully committed to making my dreams happen. I couldn't have done it without you 🥰

I cannot imagine how to begin sharing this news because of how happy and proud it makes me feel. It had been 10+ years since I had taken chemistry, organic chemistry and physics in undergrad so I had to learn those subject matter again.

The MCAT exam itself was 7.5 hours and covered those topics plus biology, biochemistry, psychology, sociology and critical reading and analysis of law, history, philosophy, art, etc. It was a beast and I chose to retake it because I knew I had the potential to execute better.

If you are considering becoming a doctor or want to learn how I as a non-traditional pre-med student tackled the MCAT, I crafted an MCAT Strategy Guide which is in my bio. I sincerely hope my story helps you get the courage to embark on your own path to meet - and even exceed! - your potential.

Thanks for your patience as I crafted my updated basic and extended skincare routines! It’s now live on my site:)

The biggest updates I made to my routines involved introducing medical grade moisturizers, essence, serums and retinol.

I’ll probably be on the lookout for switching my Shiseido Beneficiance eye moisturizer next. What do you use?

Dating in NYC is tough in your 30s, but with the help of my gfs who have wonderful, loving relationships that I look up to, it’s made it easier to fall in love with myself again and know what’s possible on the other side:

💕 a man who dotes and cherishes you like crazy, no matter what life stage you’re in or how big your dreams are
💕 a man who is honest with himself and direct with his communication. There is no need to prompt him because he is leading in his healthy masculine
💕a man who loves you so much he runs towards you every day when he picks you up from the hospital
💕 a man who sees how tired you are from working overnights and long shifts and he takes care of everything at home, including cooking yummy Korean food because he knows you like it so
💕 a man who offers back, foot and hand rubs to show you you’re his priority
💕 a man who makes you feel safe, calm, peaceful and regulated in his presence from the beginning
💕 a man who catches you when you fall out of the taxi as you’re recovering from surgery, provides a hand as you walk down stairs and gives you piggy back rides when you’re feeling tired of walking
💕 a man who is so excited and loves you so much, he tells you you’re gorgeous, beautiful, that he misses you and that you’re his queen 10x a day
💕 a man who listens to constructive feedback, apologizes for his part in it and asks how he can do right by you
💕 a man who does what he says he will do and never leaves you questioning anything
💕 a man who is disciplined and whose strength of moral character is unshakable

Earlier this year, I hit up @photoparhelva. I had never gone to @summitov before and they had this great opportunity to do a sunrise visit so I asked Kyle if he’d be down to join me and take photos to make it easier for my husband to find me. This experience working together was magical because we were able to keep bouncing ideas off each other and get killer shots. So grateful that we got to work together, Kyle! If your plan covers a medicine your doctor prescribes, you should get it for $0 out-of-pocket costs. That’s how insurance is supposed to work.

We all pay premiums so no one is priced out at the pharmacy. No one fakes cancer to get free chemo or pretends to have diabetes to pick up insulin. So cost-sharing at the pharmacy isn’t the way to go.

Insurance should fully cover medicines included in the plans so it’s $0 at the pharmacy for us.

Premiums could grant amenities like faster access, concierge services and nicer hospital rooms, but not the medicine itself.

We can afford this if we fix the middlemen and pass PBM rebates and insurer/employer discounts through to patients instead.

Keep market rewards while a drug is under patent, then require competition and steep price drops after patents expire. That’s how you get both new cures and inexpensive generics.

That’s the Biotech Social Contract: zero OOP for covered meds now, with strong incentives to invent new drugs to save lives, and low prices + broader access after patent expiration. What do you think?

Hi everyone! My name is Linda and I was born and raised in Massachusetts and trained as a scientist in the epicenter of biotech. Fifteen percent of the U.S. drug pipeline starts here, so it’s heartbreaking to hear our own senators lead price control efforts that throttle innovation that saves lives and push investment abroad. That’s the Massachusetts Paradox.

Instead of throttling the system that creates jobs and cures lives of patients, we should address the root causes and cap out-of-pocket costs, cut out the middlemen, and align insurance with patient needs.

The MA-rketing Coalition is storytelling. We show voters who we are, what’s at stake, and why market-based innovation keeps America ahead of China so we can secure the next generation of medicines, jobs, and global leadership instead of handing them away by default.
