IT’S BEEN A CRAZY RIDE… and I had every reason to quit modeling.

I still remember my very first photoshoot back in middle school. I had no idea what I was doing. I was awkward, stiff, and nervous but something in me said, “You’re going to get good at this.”

Then came high school… and comparison hit me hard. I didn’t feel pretty enough. I tried to fit in, but deep down I knew I never would. So I turned to modeling. My cousin invited me to walk in a fashion show and the second I stepped on that runway, I knew I wanted more of that.

After graduation, I did something crazy: drove alone to DC for a casting. I got in a car accident and got a ticket… but I still got signed that day. Wild.

But here’s the truth: I wasn’t booked, I wasn’t busy, and I definitely wasn’t paid. It was all a scam.

So I started over, on my own. I turned to Instagram but got caught in the trap of comparison again. I even deleted the app because I felt like quitting for good.

But modeling has always been my first love. So I came back in 2016, and this time I showed up differently, with strategy, confidence, and a plan.

Fast forward to today:
I’ve worked with dream brands, shot with top photographers, and helped other models turn their talent into full-blown businesses.

Nobody gave me the blueprint, I built it myself.
But you? You don’t have to do it alone.

10 Fun Facts You Probably Didn’t Know About Me (Until Now):

1️⃣ I hate talking about myself… but let’s get into it anyway.

2️⃣ Born in Douala, Cameroon PK 10, to be exact. Reppin’ #237allday with pride.🇨🇲

3️⃣ I started modeling at 5 years old, and later got discovered and signed by 2 major NYC agencies thanks to Instagram.🥰

4️⃣ I’m one of 9 kids. Right in the middle. Middle-child energy on 10.

5️⃣ I have a mini Schnauzer named Lola (rescued from an abusive home) and the spunkiest little puppy named Miley.

6️⃣ I used to run track in high school but gave it up to chase my modeling dreams full-time.

7️⃣ I’ve built a freedom life but I’m still healing, growing, and learning every day. Prayer, patience, and perseverance got me here.

8️⃣ I put mayo on literally everything. rice, chicken, pancakes… don’t judge me.😭😅

9️⃣ My happy place? Traveling, eating pineapples, taking photos, and styling cute fits.

🔟 Never done a pageant, but let’s be real, I was Miss Cameroon on social media for a good minute!

WHAT’S YOUR DREAM JOB?👇🏾
It’s wild how much can change in just a year…
The gigs you never thought you’d book.
The confidence you never thought you’d build.
Falling in love with yourself in ways you never knew possible.
Everything can shift, if you don’t quit.

I remember when I finally said,
“I’m gonna take this modeling thing seriously.”
It was always my dream to go full-time.
I thought I’d move to NYC, get signed, get rich, and boom, Tyra 2.0 right? LOL.
I had a plan, a passion, and I was ready to work…
…until I got hit with the reality of the industry.

The traveling is cute, but that unstable income? Not cute.
Waiting on gigs. Waiting on agents. Praying for castings to go right.
I knew I wanted more control, more freedom.

Fast forward 10+ years in the industry and 6 years being a full-time Modelpreneur…
And now I help other models shift out of survival mode and into CEO mode.
No agency? No problem.
If they don’t want to book you, book yourself.
That’s the Modelpreneur way.

But let me keep it real, this journey came with hella struggles:
“No’s,” flopped launches, bad biz moves, missed flights, self-doubt, scams, setbacks, you name it.
But I wouldn’t trade any of it. It built me.

I want to be living proof that you can turn your passion into a paycheck and your dream job into your real life.
A lot can happen in a year.
So I’ll ask again…

It’s not about being “discovered.”

Too many models are waiting to be picked… while others are getting booked because they understand this is a business.

It’s about how you pitch, how you price, and how you present yourself… not just how you look.

Pretty content alone isn’t enough, strategy is.

That’s how freelance models go from posting → to getting paid.
