Designed for the Way Life Is Lived

Exceptional homes begin with understanding both the setting and the
people who will live there. At Woodrow Place E, Roland Development
responded to the unique character of Seattle's Madison Park
neighborhood with a home that embraces its surroundings while
supporting everyday life. We’ve been fortunate to work alongside
Roland Development for nine years, and we’ve seen firsthand the
thought they bring to the details of their projects.

01 | Place
Let the Site Lead. Rather than treating the landscape as a backdrop,
Woodrow Place E lets the site shape the design.

02 | Lifestyle
Design how People Live. Every space was planned around how the
homeowners gather, entertain, and recharge.

03 | Arrival
Carry the Design to the Curb. The experience of a home begins long
before someone steps inside. Architecture, landscape, lighting, and
carefully selected house numbers work together to shape the first
impression, setting expectations for everything that follows.

As owner Michael Roland puts it:

“The address is the first detail anyone sees and the last one most
builders think about. Nine years in, Modern House Numbers is still the
piece I don't have to worry about, it’s right, it’s on time, and it
sets the tone before you reach the door.”

Thank you to Roland Development for sharing their approach with us,
and for nine years of partnership. You inspire us with your work.

This is the kind of project we love seeing in the wild. 🌳✨

One of our trade customers, Ben Krone, took “design around what matters” to a whole new level, designing an entire development around a 100-year-old silver maple.

The result? Four incredible townhomes, one very happy tree, and a project now featured in The New York Times. And we’re pretty thrilled to spot our numbers on this gorgeous project. 👀

Huge congratulations to Ben and the entire team at @gradient_architecture behind this thoughtful project. Well deserved!
