Happy Release Day @nilspettermolvaer ! For his newest album "Certainty of Tides", Molvaer is teaming up with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra under the baton of Ingar Berby. The composer chose six of his pieces to be given a new life by four Norwegian arrangers and composers Jan Martin Smørdal, Rolf Wallin, Jon Øyvind Næss, Eivind Buene and two young electronic music producers Kristian Isachsen and Even Frodesen Rosstad.

"Certainty of Tides" continues Nils Petter Molvaer’s journey into unexplored corners of sound, reaffirming his conviction to experimentation and collaboration. The orchestra in combination with his trumpet lead to a deep and fresh new listening experience of these Molvaer-classics. The release is celebrated by Nils with a concert at Ronnie Scott’s in London tonight!

"Certainty of Tides" is now available on CD and digital (Vinyl & Dolby Atmos will be available on October 20)- find the link to the album in our story and bio! 🔗 by @modernrecordings

@fejkaofficial transforms "Heaven is where you are", a center piece of @panthaduprince_official's 2022 album "Garden Gaia" into a floaty, dreamhouse track. Pantha's vocals dance along bubbly arpeggios and super-soft pads, generating a warm, etheral soundscape. The perfect soundtrack to summer dances, beach days or laying in the sun with your eyes closed. Listen for yourself - the new remix is now available as download and for streaming!

A mini documentary on the making of @matthewherbertmusic ’s latest project, „The Horse“, released on Modern Recordings on May 26th, 2023. 🐎 🎥

Join us as we dive into the world of the celebrated British artist, producer, composer, and experimentalist. Working alongside the London Contemporary Orchestra (@lcorchestra) and an expansive cast of collaborators, Matthew Herbert brings us one of his most extraordinary projects to date. This is Herbert in full flight, restlessly curious and culminating in starkly original, ritualistic music loaded with intent.
