🔥 Partner spotlight: @modfire.design

A Modfire isn’t just a fireplace — it’s a sculpture with a flame. Handmade, American-made, and one-of-a-kind. We’re honored to feature their first **indoor** piece ever created, custom-built for The Shag House.

Bold. Beautiful. And perfectly in step with our midcentury-meets-modern aesthetic. This fireplace doesn’t just warm the room — it *owns* it.

Thank you, Modfire, for bringing the heat (literally and stylistically).

This is 18!

Happy Birthday Kingston! Damn, A lifetime in a blink.

Nothing could have prepared me for fatherhood, but you made it so easy to love you and my most indelible moments have been watching you shine in everything you do.

Always the daredevil, quick to laugh, with an adventurous spirit , an enthusiastic attitude who’s smoothly persuasive and so gregarious that he’s friends with everyone he meets.

It’s no surprise your career is in firefighting and helping others in their worst moments.

I’m proud of the man you have become and know you will make this world a better place in everything you do. Keep shining… by @modfire.design

Forget the “How” and focus on the desire. Believe it so deeply that people would call you delusional.

The universe, God, the all, whatever you want to call it, just wants your true faithfulness and deepest belief. The “how” is Gods way of tickling
you and reminding you that these is something more profound and wise moving the chess pieces around the board.

When you worry about the how it crushes the belief, we loose our faithfulness and the cheese slides off the cracker.

Your one job is to act “as if” not lose focus let the “how” suprise you! by @modfire.design

The Ocotillo Lodge fireplace is coming together! Trying to keep it as close to the original as possible. Today we are working on the canopy height with the forklift before we commit to the last bits of fabrication to bring this beauty to life! It keeps getting better as we go along . by @modfire.design

OK, THIS GOT OUT OF HAND.

It started with one question:

What would a Modfire look like through the eyes of some of the most iconic artists of the last century?

Rabbit hole, couldn’t stop.

Seven completely different personalities. Same Modfire.

Swipe through and pick your favorite — but you only get ONE.

Drop the artist in the comments.

Bonus points: tell us who we should do next.

Concepts today. Who knows about tomorrow. Think we should make one? by @modfire.design

Don’t go to the grave with your best music still in you. Take 30 days and give the passion project everything you have and let me know how you do.

Is unfortunate that most of us have these incredible dreams and we get stuck in our day today with no energy to bring them forward, as much as I hate to say it getting off social media will claim 4 to 6 hours of your life back every single day that you can devote to the thing that’s in your heart.

Don’t be afraid, fear is imagining things going horribly wrong that 99% of the time don’t pan out. The universe wants to support you, have faith, leap! And the net will appear.

You matter…You are loved…You are worthy.

Even if you don’t know what your bigger purpose is, your smallest acts of kindness ripple through the universe and make an enormous impact with others.

If you are feeling alone, and we all do sometimes, I would be honored to be there for you. Send me a DM

Sometimes we just need a little kindness thrown our way to change the trajectory of our lives.

I hope this is a beautiful reminder that you make a difference just by being you. by @modfire.design
