How We Play Live is a two-part event.

During the day, we open things up with talks and conversations about what it really takes to perform electronic music live, from unreliable setups and getting stuck in loops to the relationship between musician and machine.

Daytime programme: Open Access
Thursday 22 October
Club Baggerbeest, Amsterdam

The night programme continues with live performances and is a separate ticketed event.

What does playing electronic music live actually look like?

No two performances are exactly the same. Machines, movement, decisions, mistakes and moments, happening in real time.

@bries_from_earth made this YouTube video about the DR-2.

His words 😉: 'a magnificent workhorse of a drummachine'.

Thanks for the nice demo @bries_from_earth! 🙏
