Huge congratulations to my brutha Matthew Law on his award for his service with @kidsmentalhealthfoundation. Doing big, great things in the world. And right now caring and kindness is what we need most. Keep steppin’ everyone! 🙏🏾🫡

I dedicate this post to @ernestharden . Seven decades in this business. First Emmy win. That is perseverance . Ernest did my first narrative short film that I wrote and directed in 2014 about a senior citizen on a mission to become a rapper. I’m assuming it was in one of those actor lean times that we’re always in. He delivered the goods and we were nominated for best short at @paffnow among many other accolades.

Actors are the most resilient people you’ll ever meet . No matter how good we are we are rejected everyday. An ungodly amount of rejection. And you have no idea the skin you have to develop to keep going. Yet we do it. To give you a cathartic experience and to somehow experience something unknown about ourselves through this work. I’ve been at it three decades. My hat is off to you and seven decades , Ernest. It is no small feat. Congratulations. Take it in and smell the roses. 🙏🏾🫡 taken in Hollywood, California by @moetothemoon

Throwing back to playing Tupac bodyguard/FBI informant, Kevin Hackie, in #tupacandbiggie. 30 years and this case is still relevant. Who knew? Shout to @shinybootz for a stirring series. 😎 taken in Los Angeles, California by @moetothemoon
