Ahead of World Mental Health Day, we gathered with an incredible community of advocates to celebrate progress, honor a champion and continue our commitment to children's mental health.

We were proud to recognize Matthew Law, actor, filmmaker and Founder of TRUE, with the Champion of Influence for Mental Health Award for his efforts to elevate conversations around mental health and resilience in the Black community.

The evening also marked an exciting milestone as we announced the inaugural Kids Mental Health Foundation Open, coming to the golf course at Miramar Lake Club next October. ⛳

A heartfelt thank you to our hosts @angelcharissma and @coreyconrad, our LA Committee members, National Advisory Council, Entertainment Council and supporters who continue to show up for kids and families.

Every day, we're reminded that meaningful change starts with all of us.

Last night, we gathered in Los Angeles with an incredible community of advocates to champion a cause that touches us all: children’s mental health. As we approach World Mental Health Day, we were reminded of a powerful truth: kids’ mental health starts with us. ☀️

We’re proud to honor Matthew Law — actor, filmmaker, and Founder of TRUE — with the Champion of Influence for Mental Health Award. 🏆 Through TRUE, Matthew created a powerful immersive cinematic space to shine a spotlight on mental health in the Black community, encouraging honest conversations around challenges and resilience.

A special thank you to our co-hosts @angelcharissma and @coreyconrad, LA Committee members, National Advisory Council, Entertainment Council and friends who continue to use their voices to help move this work forward. Together, supporters in LA have raised more than $1.8 million! 🦋

Together, we’re building a community committed to ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.
