Here is my 2020 Holiday Cookie Box, the post I was excited for literally this whole year. I remember seeing such beautiful ones last Christmas and regretted so much not having my own, so I started planning then already what cookies will be in my box this year. And here they are. Most cookies are already on the blog.
In the box we have:
Gingerbread Man, Vanilla Crescents, Linzer cookies, Sugar Cookes, Walnut Meringue Cookies, Lamington Cookies, Biscoff Truffles, Zimtsterne Star Cookies, and Bear Paws. 10 cookies this year! And I ran out of time to post all of them but I will next year!
Today is my favorite day of the year, I’m going to do a quick tidy and set the table, then watch a Christmas movie and start on my Baccala brodetto and Fritule, then we get to open one gift each tonight!!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas everyone!
Ho Ho Ho 🍪🎅🏻🎄

One of the most delicious pizzas, olive oil, mortadella, burrata and pistachios. Perfection!
I didn’t make my own pizza dough, I often grab some from @wholefoods and I really love it, however, my friend @cucinabyelena has a beautiful pizza dough recipe and if you don’t already follow @orsongygi first why?!? Run and follow them because they are talking all about pizza this month!

Fun pasta with roasted asparagus, crispy prosciutto and Burrata. My younger son and I are so obsessed with asparagus right now, I make a tray almost every day for snacking!

Breakfast or dessert? Homemade sourdough bread that I’m loving making again, peanut butter, homemade jam and caramelized bananas. I think dessert 😁

I’m giving myself freedom to post some food photos without recipes. Not having time to do it all meant I basically stopped posting. But I feel like posting when I want to, so here is a photo of Arroz Con Pollo. Maybe eventually I post the recipe too 😬

It’s donut season in Croatia, and here’s my contribution 🤩
Nothing quite like a still warm fresh jelly filled donut, yum!
