The Men of George Washington Carver, Incorporated would like to recognize the month of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast cancer has touched the lives of countless individuals and families, and this month serves as an opportunity to honor those we have lost, uplift those currently fighting, and celebrate the strength of survivors.

Awareness goes beyond wearing pink. We encourage everyone to take the time to learn about breast cancer, understand the importance of early detection and regular screenings, and support the people in our lives who may be affected by this disease.

Throughout this month and beyond, let us continue to show compassion, spread awareness, and stand alongside those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. No one should have to face their fight alone. 🎀 by @mogwcinc

Each month, the Men of George Washington Carver, Inc. recognizes a brother whose leadership, service, excellence, and commitment continue to strengthen our brotherhood and the communities we serve.

This month, we proudly recognize Robert Abron as our Brother of the Month. Through his commitment to brotherhood, education, and student leadership, Robert continues to represent the values of the Men of George Washington Carver, Inc.

Robert served as our Head of Brotherhood for the 2025–2026 academic year, helping strengthen the connections that bring our organization together. Beyond MOGWC, he serves as Director of Non-Traditional Student Experience for 2026–2027, following his involvement as a staffer during the previous academic year.

His dedication to education and service extends beyond Howard University through his involvement with Breakthrough Collaborative Miami and the UNCF ETOP Program during summer 2026. His experience as a Residential Teaching Assistant in summer 2025 further reflects his commitment to supporting others through education and mentorship.

Robert’s commitment to brotherhood, service, and leadership makes him a strong example of what it means to lead with purpose. We are proud to recognize Robert Abron as our Brother of the Month and celebrate the impact he continues to make within MOGWC and the communities he serves. by @mogwcinc

Join the Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Almighty Alpha Chapter, along with @collegiate100hu , and @mogwcinc for “Unmasked”.

A safe space for Black men to remove the “mask,” embrace vulnerability, and have honest conversations about mental health.

The Men of George Washington Carver, Inc. presents The Closing Play, our Interest Week’s final event social event. This is a team-based outdoor social that closes the week the way brotherhood is actually built: side by side, working toward something together. Freshmen and members will enjoy a field day where everyone leaves the week having connected with people beyond those they already knew.

Participants are divided into councils of five to six and challenged to work through complex ethical, organizational, and community-based dilemmas where success isn’t about individual opinions, but the group’s ability to reach unanimous agreement through respectful dialogue and collaboration.
