Such a different experience racing Doubles Open 🥉🇪🇬🇬🇷 @hyroxgrc This one means a little more to me because when I started my journey in sport, I was a professional horse rider. I’ve been competing since I was 8 years old, so competition has always been a big part of my life When I stopped horse riding, I really missed that feeling of competing. I found myself training every day in the gym and taking care of my body, and one day I thought “Why am I only training? Why not compete again? That’s when I found HYROX @hyroxworld 🏃🏽 The funny thing is, I had absolutely no background in running. I had never been a runner, but I decided to give it a try and see where it could take me. After my first race in Turin, I completely fell in love with this sport especially that feeling in the Red Bull tunnel, standing on the start line, hearing the crowd, and feeling that adrenaline and dopamine rush There’s honestly nothing like it .I’ve been working on myself so hard, and I’m still working every single day to become better. I’m not competing with anyone else. I’m competing with myself. Trying to beat my own time, push my limits, and see how far I can take this. This race was completely unplanned, but I enjoyed every second of it. Different spirit, different energy, and a beautiful experience. 🥉🏁🇬🇷 I’m proud of the result, but I know there’s still so much more to do, and we can definitely do better. Most importantly I’m grateful to God for giving me the health, fitness, and ability to put my body through these tough races. From a kid competing on horseback, to finding a new sport where I can compete again I’m just grateful for the journey by @mohammedkhafagyy
