I made s'more pops on @ktlaweekendam today! It turned into a real Lucy and Ethel chocolate factory moment at one point 🍫😂🧑‍🍳

Last week was the @REI PAV founder summit in the Pacific Northwest.

I closed my laptop and somewhat successfully ignored my inbox. For four days!

I reflected on how we've changed since joining this cohort. Talked through things I love, hate, and the changes I realize are coming.

Back home, challenges arose beyond my control. Twice I looked into moving up my flight, but with the counsel of my cohort pals (and the fact that we were two hours from a major city) I stayed put. I leaned on our marshmallow crew in LA, and they came through in a big way (more on that in the next post!). And I remained. Rooted in nature and friendship 🌲

This experience reminded me of where we began. With a love of communing outdoors, sharing tales and treats around a fire.

It was a reminder of how lucky I am to be able to do this as a job. And a reminder that I am not alone. And a reminder to not give me a microphone!
