a little story time on my #sobriety that inspired my latest collection of ceramics called cin! cin! still a lot of learning to do, but a few things that have made the journey a little easier: having a solid support system to lean on, sitting in the feels from time to time, still going out to bars but getting a cute mocktail instead and supporting small businesses like @burdenofproofna that do NA options right! got this @woodys.wine from them not too long ago and it’s delightful.

making time for pottery while working a full-time gig has been tricky, but where there’s a will, there’s a way!

fast forward five months and i’m in a new city, new job and new pottery studio. and boy was it a rough transition! does anyone else feel like as you get older, you’re less open to change? it’s taken me some time to feel confident about this move and some days i’m shaky and remember parts of the bay that i miss, but lately i’ve taken in all the little moments that make my new hood so special: fruit trees everywhere(!), lots of yummy food, epic sunsets for days, cool art and really old music venues. i’m still trying to balance pottery making with a 9-5, but i’m alive and my (new) life is pretty neat.
