Run the @nycmarathon ✅ I see you and heard you NY. The support from the crowd was absolutely electric. It was an honor to run for an organization that means so much to me. Thank you @alznycc for this opportunity. I know Papa Carl was looking down and smiling. This was my first marathon and definitely not my last! by @mokun_

I am sharing this to limit the stigma of mental health. If you or a loved one are suffering, I encourage you to seek help. There is a light at the end of every tunnel.

This year has been the hardest year of my life. I hit rock bottom and thought there was no way out. I struggled since March with severe depression and anxiety. For the past 8 weeks I have been in an intensive program to get well. I’m proud to announce today I graduated from my program. Behind me are words my cohort used to describe me throughout my transformation. I am strong, positive and so beyond hopeful for my future. Huge thank you to my family and friends. I would not have been able to get through this journey without your unconditional love and support. I’ll be forever grateful for this opportunity @themhcollective thank you for changing my life. by @mokun_
