End of ‘24 !

ft. Mike Wazowski; the squirrel 🐿️

Who would have known a program like this could have encompassed so many enriching experiences like it did, I’m honestly so lucky to have been part of this!!

Two weeks ago, I didn’t even know what a pipette was, and now I walk away having had extracted DNA, protein, and doing much more which was SO COOL!! I’ve learned about so many plants I didn’t even know that existed like the Parachute plant, the Ocotillo plant, or the Drakaea plant, and I’m no where near done learning. You bet I’m going home and planting so many stuff in my garden🪴!!

Of course, this wouldn’t have been as fun as it was without the people I met 💕. So thank you for allowing me to have this kind of memory to hold onto, even if it involved cramming too many people in one bus, looking at the world upside down on the Harley Quinn ride 🎢, or having our GPS lead us to a random cow at a farm while it was pouring rain outside 🐄 LOL. I love you all, and I hope to see you again!! I wish everyone a very happy summer 🫂 taken in UMass Amherst by @molazu_

2023 WRAPPED

The Great Pyramid of Cholula (Tlachihualtepetl = “The handmade mountain”) is a 2,400 year old pyramid that is 450 meters wide making it the widest Pyramid in the world. The Cholultecas considered this pyramid incredibly sacred. Most of this pyramid is currently underground because of the cathedral on top of it that makes it almost impossible to excavate safely. The famous Cathedral “Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios” was built by the Spanish people in 1574. The Spanish purposefully built the Cathedral on top of Tlachihualtepetl as a symbol of their Christian conquest. This Cholula region has remained as a religious site and archeological site.
It has been really interesting to learn about the ancient city of Cholula and I hope to come back again soon. taken in Cholula, Puebla by @molazu_

I have so much to appreciate from everyone for letting me to have such a delightful year, therefore, thank you to all 🫶.
