We’re doing it again. 🌹

The Lonesome Roses & Friends is coming back to Fox Point Farms for four more nights this fall + winter, and we’ve got some really special friends joining us.

OCT 11 — Jeff Berkley
NOV 1 — Francis Blume
DEC 6 — Holiday Show ✨
JAN 3 — Patch & Maggi

These nights have become one of our favorite things — intimate, acoustic, listening-room shows with artists we love, right here in Encinitas.

Come hang with us. ❤️

This is what your support has been making possible. 🌹

We went into the studio thinking $30K would cover making the record, and that anything we raised beyond that would go toward releasing it. Turns out, making the record itself is costing more than we expected.

There are still producer costs, mixing and mastering, documenting the recording, a music video in the works, and a few things these songs still need before we can officially call them finished.

So we’re still raising toward our next goal of $50K. ❤️

We’re learning what it actually takes to make a full-length record as we go, and we’re incredibly grateful that you’re making it with us.

$32,371 raised so far.

This little record of mine turned five last month. 🥹

Feels like a good excuse to start pulling some of these songs out of the archives.

More soon. 🩵 by @mollyjay

Yesterday’s experiment: how do we make two guitars sound a little more like the record we just made? 👀

We thought it would cost us about $30,000 to make this record. Turns out, it costs more. 🤣

We always knew we wanted to raise $50K or more, but our original plan was that the first $30K would make the record, and anything beyond that would help us put it out into the world.

Now that we’ve actually made it through six days in the studio, we know more.

We still have mixing and mastering to finish paying for, producer costs, people who documented the recording, a music video in the works, and a few things the songs still need before we can officially call this record DONE.

And we’d really like to make sure the people who have given so much of their time and talent to this record are taken care of. ❤️

So we’re still working toward our next goal of $50K. We’re at $31,726 right now, and every dollar from here helps us finish this record the way we want to finish it.

Anything we raise beyond what it takes to finish the record goes toward getting it out into the world. We’re learning as we go. Thank you for being part of it with us. Link in bio. 🌹 by @mollyjay
