I was excited to learn that the Ale Mary beer label I designed during my time at @william_and_mary received a Silver Award in the 2026 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards! 🥈

Since the Circle of Excellence Awards recognize some of the best work in higher education marketing and communications from around the world, this means a lot to me.

Designing the beer label for the collaboration between @williamandmarywomen and @virginiabeerco for the 2025 Women’s Weekend was a blessing, and I thank God for the opportunity to celebrate the women and history of William & Mary through this award-winning project.

It’s a little bittersweet because the submission was one of my final projects with @wm.creatives but I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a talented team. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🎉

As the sun sets on my time at @william_and_mary on the @wm.creatives team and I begin a new chapter, I can’t help but reflect on how much this place has meant to me.

Over the last three years, I had the opportunity to work alongside some truly amazing people and tackle some very large (and very fun) creative challenges. I was encouraged to push my design limits and grow through every project I worked on. I am incredibly grateful for everything I learned along the way and for the people who helped shape this chapter of my life and career.

In the near future, I’ll be sharing a few of my final projects from my time at the university. Stay tuned!

Throwing it back to give back 💚

One Tribe One Day is @william_and_mary’s annual day of giving, bringing the community together from across campus and beyond to support students, programs, and initiatives that matter most.

It’s been fun working on OTOD over the past few years, from creating decade-inspired graphics to digging through Colonial Echo yearbooks for throwback photos for these Then & Now graphics, and seeing the creative ideas our campus partners have come up with.

One of my favorite projects this fall was designing the Ale Mary beer label for @william_and_mary’s Women’s Weekend in collaboration with @virginiabeerco. I illustrated Queen Mary II along with the Wren Building, Kensington Palace, and peach trees. The peach trees were a nod to the beer’s peach-infused hazy IPA and helped guide the palette and mood of the design.

Ale Mary was brewed with the Pink Boots hop blend, which is created by women-owned farms to support career development for women and non-binary individuals in the brewing industry.

I’m grateful to create this as part of the @wm.creatives team, and for the beautiful photos captured by @katienesbittphoto and @timothysofranko

Capturing these moments for my dear friend Emily and her husband Dalton was such a joy. Their love and excitement as they prepare to welcome their baby boy into the world made my first maternity session truly meaningful. 💙 by @mollysocksdesign

Another home DIY project completed. ✅
My husband bought this oak table for $30 at a yard sale. Oak was not my style and didn’t match the rest of our home. Together, we refinished it so the top was espresso and the base was white. Then, we paired it with some cute @betterhomesandgardens chairs.

One of my favorite things about putting my house together is finding affordable decorations to bring each room to life. I bought this antique oak towel shelf, refinished it to match the wood tones of my house, bought the towels from my local dollar store and made this adorable bouquet with some fall flowers on sale at @michaelsstores and an old lemonade bottle I had on hand. Little DIYs like this really make a house feel like a home.

This year’s Homecoming graphics were inspired by retro letterpress posters, and it was quite the challenge! I really pushed my design skills to the limit and am so proud of how everything turned out. With vintage textures, bold font combos, and stylized photos, our team, @wm.creatives , created a nostalgic yet fresh look for @william_and_mary ‘s 2024 Homecoming.

I had a few photo assignments during @william_and_mary ‘s Homecoming this year. I really enjoyed capturing all of the joy and excitement that the alumni brought to campus with them. Great work to everyone involved in the planning and implementation of the events! by @mollysocksdesign

Did you know Gloucester, Virginia is the home of the daffodils? When Gloucester was formed in 1651, settlers brought with them daffodil bulbs. The settlers planted them as “soft reminders of English springs”. Did you also know Gloucester celebrates this history with a Daffodil Festival every year? Between the parade, dog show, vendors, and live music, it’s a blast for the whole community!
