It’s the simple things in life that I love to reflect on, which is probably why I love the little details captured throughout a wedding day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What’s a simple moment in life that makes you feel at peace?
Here are a couple of mine;
Hearing birds chirping in the morning.
Holding hands with Michael.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I asked Michael this same question and he said: “The moment when you make it to a waterfall and you just kinda stop and look for a second”

@mollysocksdesign Doubles - 9 x 11” Collaboration between @lynhortonphotoart and myself to support @uspsartproject.
.
Molly wrote:
Lyn started the piece with a pen illustration and I added the two-plate linocut print on top. This piece took about a month to complete, because I had to carefully plan and line my plates up with Lyn’s illustration. I only had one shot to get the print right which is super nerve-wrecking! I’m very happy I was able to collaborate with the very talented @lynhortonphotoart and participate with @uspsartproject to support the US Post Office.
.
I will be submitting this piece to the exhibition at @artgymdenver.

It’s here! Sans Merci Volume 44 has been released. Although we could not have a Release Party, we published the magazine online for all to view. Check out the link in the bio and keep watching this page for this year’s winners! The physical copies will be available when we are all able to return to campus again.

Molly & Eric braved the cold and I’m so glad that they did- these two warned me (as most couples do) that they don’t take photos often and that they are “awkward”. Believe me when I say- there was nothing awkward about this session! We laughed and talked the entire time, literally at the end I had to pull myself away because I knew they had a drive ahead of them but I could have talked their ears off!
Check out my story to see more of their sneak peeks!

Sans Merci 43 release!
What a wonderful turnout for such an enjoyable night! A huge thanks for the opportunity provided by the #shepherduniversity Department of Contemporary Art and Theater and @sansmercimag, and for being accepted into the publication. Congratulations to all the winners, and another thank you to @mollyhenrydesign for a fantastic design and to all my fellow editors (@alexgarciaphotograph @tylerhooksphoto, @misslilibelle) in making this possible! Great job everyone--we did it!
