My girl will now be forever a part of me. She used to pat my arm whenever she needed my attention, when I am sad or in pain, she would rest her head there. I miss my Twinkie Star so much.

Day 2 was supposed to be on a Hop on Hop off bus tour which never showed up. So I talked the taxi driver into taking me an old fashioned taverna in the old City. Just a bit outside of the touristy area. Halloumi, grilled sardines and orange cake for dessert made for a nice, long luxurious lunch. See that inclined cobble stoned street behind me? Yup, I walked up that!
The Greeks are such nice, kind, and helpful people. The food delicious! Cats everywhere! I love it here!

Late post. Arrived Athens after a very long flight on Tuesday, 22 September. I packed for summer heat, was welcomed by rain fall. Eh. I’m already enjoying the food and the view from my room.

The annual Golf4Life event was held on September 16,2026. Hosted by @championthechallenges, this event brings stroke survivors from the Bay Area to Los Lagos Golf Course in San Jose. It was a day to challenge our balance, coordination, and strength. It’s probably the only time you’ll see me on a golf course, even though I look cute in golf gear ☺️.
It was also great to see friends @angieflynnart and Lourdes.

New (to me) library, new library card to add to my collection. This time from Palo Alto City library. A nice stroll around the block led me to a nice diner which served yummy milkshakes with crispy fries for dipping. It is also where Marvel keeps the Captain Americas hidden when not in action.

Fun mommy and Vincent day in Santa Rosa yesterday. First stop was the library to get our Peanuts library cards, where I look like I’m photobombing @bmxcat1 & Lucy. Then a nice lunch at Bird and Box a cute little fusion restaurant with yummy cocktails and delicious food. And of course a visit to the Charles Schultz Museum! A place that always brings me joy!
Then a stop at Graton Casino. As you can see by Vincent’s face, luck wasn’t by side. And since they didn’t have penny slots, I hung out with my Kindle. by @mommaberna

I took the BART to Berkeley yesterday to meet online writer friends IRL. Good food, great conversations. Even a book signing by soon to be famous author @tonyv.george.
