Love you 💖 Lawrence Inscho!!! Lawrence was one of the most truly positive people I’ve had the joy of knowing. ✨So thankful for his kindness and care! His passion for music was infectious and brought so much light ✨❤️🙏 to everyone who knew him. 🌻🌈💐🌼 He encouraged me and countless others to follow our path as musicians and always gave words of wisdom and affirmation. I know his spirt will send beautiful ripples out into the universe and I am so grateful to be inspired by him! 💖💖💖💖🙏✨🌈 by @mommamolasses

THIS THURSDAY, OCT. 29TH!

Come hang with me at @lumacbristol for some live music and pre-Halloween sunset vibes! 🌅🎃✨

I’ll be playing from 6–9 PM with one of the most beautiful views of downtown Bristol as the backdrop. Good music, golden hour, and a little spooky-season magic. 🍂🧡

Come catch the sunset and stay awhile! by @mommamolasses

FrankFest photos! ❤️ What a beautiful reunion. I’d like to think Frank would’ve loved every minute of it. We shared stories around the fire, laughed until we cried, and remembered all the little things that made Frank Steed so special. One of my favorites was Frank weirdly taking a sunny-side-up egg to-go then oddly sticking to a wall overnight and later using it “cure” headaches like a cold steak. 😂🍳 Only Frank! Big love ❤️ to my Carthage framily! by @mommamolasses

Today’s schedule for the @michaelcparris Life is Beautiful Fundraiser Concert and Gathering at @flatirongso

Please come early and stay all day. We are going to keep the vibe flowing at the Oden Brewing Company open mic after party. Everyone has been awesome about sharing so far, so I humbly ask for one more push before the show tomorrow.

I remembered something today that stopped me in my tracks. Frank Steed was the first person I ever sang an original song to. I was a nerdy high school kid with glasses, braces and not many friends, trying to find my place in the world. Frank told me to keep playing, that I sounded really damn good, and that I had a future in music.

Frank basically lived across the street from my parents house and was one of my brother’s best friends and roommates and was kinda like a weird older brother to me. Frank was one of the very few people in Carthage that thought outside of the box. He was an amazing musician. He was also one of my first bandmates. He played stand up bass, Dobro, and just about anything with strings. He was brilliant, endlessly curious about the universe, and one of those rare souls who never quite fit inside the lines. I don’t know if thinking so deeply was a gift or a curse for him, but I know the world was more interesting and endless more hilarious because he was in it.

We lost Frank in July, and I’m so thankful for the kindness and encouragement he gave me growing up.

This Saturday, I’m honored to be playing Frank Fest in Carthage, North Carolina, alongside several amazing musicians, including Frank’s incredible band, Tobacco Trailer Blues, and one of my favorite bands of all time, @gasolinestove
I’ll be playing a solo set around 2:30pm

570 McCaskill Rd Carthage NC 28327

Y’all come out, hear some music, and help us celebrate a one-of-a-kind soul. Thank you Frank, you helped me believe in myself, and a part of me will always be grateful for that. ❤️ by @mommamolasses

Y’ALL!!! I can’t believe my sweet guitar Muffuletta is BACK IN ACTION!!

@cskarsaune Chuck did an AMAZING job fixing her up, and you can barely even tell she took a terrible tumble in a parking lot this summer while I was out gigging. I was too busy yapping and laughing, let go of one strap on my gig bag, then the other… and DOWN SHE WENT. 🤦‍♀️

I’m so incredibly thankful she could be fixed up so beautifully. This guitar is kind of like my trusty ol’ trigger iykyk, and I love her more than words can say!!!

Thank you, Chuck, for bringing my girl back to life!!! Of anyone needs guitar repair I can’t recommend Chuck enough!!! by @mommamolasses
