I qualified for Worlds to represent the USA after winning my age group at an event in May. Worlds in Japan I placed — 13th. I had hoped to finish closer to the podium, but missed the break early and spent a good portion of the race chasing with @yuly.polevaya pretty much pointlessly. Ha. Still such a challenging, fun and beautiful event and an experience I’m incredibly thankful for.

Then I decided to throw Nationals into the mix because I felt like I was in good shape and actually had no conflicts with my schedule. I ended up 3rd.

Working out with a goal helps keep me steady, and I love a good competition! Now off season :) by @mompowers

I’ll make it through this season, but it’s definitely been a hard one. I’ll miss our daily conversations about life, faith, musicals, politics, relationships and everything in between. She has challenged and inspired me on every level, and now it’s her turn to do the same with a whole new world of people. Seeing how excited she is about this next chapter makes it a little easier. As always, I can’t wait to watch her shine. #gonoles by @mompowers

At 3 years old, we worried because she hardly talked.

Turns out, she was just taking her time before using her incredible voice to lift up those around her. Your beautiful, questioning, creative, hilarious and compassionate spirit is going to be missed.

Really proud of Madison’s Mock Trial team for winning Nationals and representing Florida against 44 of the best teams in the country. The students competed against other teams by arguing both the plaintiff and defense sides of the same case in different rounds, all in front of Supreme Court justices, district judges, and attorneys from across the country. I’m still in awe of what I witnessed. Congratulations to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! @lcs.mocktrial
