🖤 ABOUT STAGE FRIGHT… 🎤✨

“You can’t possibly get nervous. You perform all the time!”

Well… spoiler alert: I do. Every single time. 😅

Sometimes more than others, especially when there are things I can’t control, like my health. But I’ve learned to work with my stage fright instead of letting it hold me back.

Here are a few of my pre-show rituals:

🖤 Alter ego: I create a version of myself who dares to take up space and own the stage.

🌙 Braids with intention: My witchy side comes out! I weave intentions into discreet braids and wear crystals that match the energy I need.

👗 Dress to feel powerful: The right outfit helps me step into my stage persona.

💄 Makeup magic: When I feel beautiful, I feel more confident!

🎶 Warm up properly: Never underestimate the importance of taking your time to prepare your voice.

📝 Use notes if you need them: We’re humans, not machines. There’s no shame in having a safety net!

✨ Accept the ups and downs: Your voice and body won’t feel the same every day. Some shows will be easier than others, and that’s okay.

Remember: you don’t have to be fearless to be brave. You don’t have to be perfect to be powerful. Just show up, do your best, and be unapologetically YOU. 🖤🔥 by @moniasommer

Still processing this one. 🥹

SheRocks Night was something I really wanted to make happen.

@mariahelmisaari and @pirittalumousartist : you two were absolutely incredible. ❤️ I loved the energy between us, the little moments on and off stage, and that feeling that we were genuinely in this together. That’s exactly what I hoped SheRocks could be about. 💖

Having people from different chapters of my life in the audience made the night even more special. Some familiar faces, some unexpected ones, and so many people who came to support us.🫶

I’m incredibly grateful for every person who showed up, cheered, sang along, filmed, hugged me afterwards or simply shared the night with us.

This one is going to stay with me for a while. 🥹🖤 by @moniasommer

A year ago, I had an idea. Yesterday, I watched it become real. 🥹💜

The very first SheRocks Night is officially in the books and honestly, I’m still trying to process it.
What started as a little Instagram community has now become a real night, a real stage, and a room full of people coming together to celebrate rock, music and each other.

Three incredible bands.
Three different sounds and stories.
One stage. One community. 🤘

A huge thank you to @pirittalumousartist Rock Band and @annabellebandofficial for being part of this very first SheRocks Night and making the evening so special. 🖤

And thank you to everyone who came to support us yesterday. Seeing so many familiar faces in the crowd honestly meant more than you probably realise. 🥹💜

Thank you to @barkotelo for giving SheRocks a place to come to life, and to everyone who helped make this night happen behind the scenes.

It was about bringing women together, supporting each other and creating space for all of us to shine.
And yesterday, we did exactly that. 🥹

This is only the beginning.

There is room for all of us to shine. 💜🤘 by @moniasommer

Sometimes I stop and realise just how far I’ve come.
This summer has been a whirlwind of rehearsals, concerts, studio days, new songs and dreams that are slowly becoming real.
And now we’re just days away from SheRocks Night. 🖤

I’m tired. I’m grateful. And honestly… a little proud of myself. 🥹

Still a long way to go. But damn, look how far we’ve already come. 🤘🏻 by @moniasommer
