On February 2, Jason Taylor Foundation Vice President, @monicalaurentaylor hosted her second annual @monicasrunway event aboard the stunning @celebritycruises Ascent. Not only were significant and necessary funds raised for our Jason Taylor Reading Room, but Monica also has created a space for dynamic, talented, successful women to organize and celebrate philanthropy and each other.

One of the many special elements of Monica’s Runway is that the models are all young women once impacted by our organization. This year, Nyah Hardmon (@nyahterrilyn ) performed her original poem dedicated to the event and the women who make it a reality.

On Friday, the Monica’s Runway models and I hit Dadeland Mall for their fitting day! ❤️ Thanks to our friends at @lululemon, @shopdadeland, @stevemadden, and @kendrascott, these incredible young women – each of whom has unique and special ties to the @JTFoundation99 – will pay it forward in style for our second annual event!

Nothing sweeter than spending time with the incredible teachers and students at the @jtfoundation99 Reading Room 🖤📚 The JTF Reading Room is a free, comprehensive after-school program designed to address academic challenges among educationally disadvantaged youth, particularly in the area of literacy.
