EPISODE 2 OF MONIF MEETS ___ 👀

…and today’s guests are SMALL. SCALY. AND VERY TOOTHY. 🐊💗

Monif meets the baby crocs! 🥹🌿

Come along for a little peek into life with these tiny hatchlings; because apparently being a zoologist means getting way too excited over reptiles the size of your hand. 😂🐊

🎥 Watch till the end & comment 🐊 if you’d want to meet the hatchlings too!
Make sure to follow @monifmeetswild to follow the expedition.🔎

Just another calm, peaceful night of crocodile surveying… 😂🐊🌙
Spent a few late night hours in the field with our friends at @ccam_foundation, @jamcroc_initiative , @nepajamaica & @kidflamess and let’s just say… the clips speak for themselves.
Between the random serenades, questionable commentary and actually spotting crocs🔦, this was definitely one for the fieldwork books.

GUESS THE NUMBER 👀
How many crocs do you think we spotted that night? Drop your number below ⬇️🐊

✨NEW MINI SERIES✨. 🎬 “Monif Meets ____
Episode 1: Monif Meets Rogue🐊

Welcome to the very first episode of my new mini-series, “Monif Meets ____” where I take you along as I meet incredible wildlife and the people working to protect them.

For Episode 1, we headed down to Holland Bay Crocodile Sanctuary @crocsanctuaryjamaica to help get Rogue out of a bit of a sticky situation. Safe to say it was an unforgettable day and I couldn’t have asked for better company than likes of the pros such as @empha_size @joey._.brown & @roostersworldja .

I hope you enjoy this first episode as much as I enjoyed filming it!
Now, over to you... Who should Monif meet next? Comment and let me know!?🐾🌎👀 #zoology #mmw #wildlife #crocodylusacutus taken in St Thomas, Jamaica by @monifmeetswild

Celebratory group pic after catching up & moving one of Lawrence’s big boys (Rogue) at the croc sanctuary 🐊😅

Unfortunately Rogue managed to get into a neighboring males enclosure, erupting in a battle royal between the two (Rogue vs Thrasher) 💪

We then had a fun, swampy obstacle course of various barriers to work around while catching and hauling Rogue back out.

In the end, we all got a good workout and finished the day with some fence repairs & Red Stripes before making the 2 hour roadtrip back to Kingston🍻🐊🇯🇲

From childhood animal books and an obsession with anything wild, to research, conservation, and spending way too much time talking about crocodiles, this is a little look at how Everyone’s favorite Zoologist, got here. 🐊

World Croc Day feels like the perfect time to share the journey that turned a childhood love for animals into a blossom career working to understand and protect these amazing creatures.

Still learning, still exploring, and still just as fascinated as I was when I was a child. Happy World Croc Day Everyone!🎉
