Marie-Josée and Henri..
They have been together for many years..They have watched each other’s hair turn grey,Henri’s tummy getting round..
They children having lives of their own.No Littles.
But they have each other through thick and thin.
Right now they are going to see a travel agent.
They wish to go to Turkey..
Henri saw someone on IG that had a very successful hair transplant there and wants one.
He has communicated with the man and his reviews are so positive.
Personally I would not have anything done but it seems to be the thing these days.
Looking 40 when 70…etc.
Anyway..it is entirely up to Henri☺️
TBH s few leaves at bottom,digital.

Yesterday was picture perfect in my beautiful small town.
Planted my garlic field☺️in the morning and pulled a few dahlia clumps.Only plant dahlias in our zone if you love hard work or have helpers.And lifting is only the beginning.
I had a few errands ,my last stop was at @2rockersartsupply …Wow.
Outside,a charming suited to the town cute building with two rockers out front..
You walk in and immediately are so impressed with the spotless array of a more than a multitude of art supplies.
Everything a beginner or seasoned artist could want in all medias.
Everything from paints to pencils to markers to papers and brushes.
The space went on and on.A treasure trove.
Beautifully displayed.
No need to go elsewhere,it is all right here.Tracy the owner so nice and helpful.

When your eldest grandson..21 ,came home on a two day stay…visits his grandparents.
He could be anywhere but pops by.
When he was born..This was my song for him.His mom took a back pic of him walking up to our front door.
For 16 yrs he lived kitty corner across the street.
I am overjoyed that he still remembers the little things.
We are so lucky.He was our first..His mom was so generous with his time with us..🩷
This is what best days ever feel like at a certain point in our lives.
He is part of a band of three brothers.You cannot even imagine the love there.💙

The song..Francis Cabral.
In love with his songs..music..
We had a few days of rain and although I have been stitching for years.I loved the idea of making a post card.
I took an online class @whynotstitching
She is so zen.
I was very happy to just stitch very slowly along without a true pattern.I need that pen she uses..
I enjoyed every minute.
The leaves are not peak yet.
Football season is.
20 yrs ago if you would have told me I would be so invested☺️I would have said never.
I would have lied.
Anyone watching East of Eden?
I love it.
I have painted but on a personal side..
I hope to never ever ever be without dahlias who are still popping out beautiful big blooms eery day.

Hockey is at our doorstep!
We are all hoping the Montreal Canadiens win the cup this yr.
I have never been so invested in hockey apart from when M JacquesDemers was their coach 🏆
So everywhere you are seeing signs of our maple leaf..

Unbelievable beauty days.
I used to be over my gardens by September..Not so since dahlias moved in.Every bouquet a gift.
Labyrinth can be peachy or this piny mauve.When I pick bouquets the bees are all over the cosmos and stay in my bouquets🙂One came in with me.I am fascinated by them.Can you tell?I love cosmos and zinnias too right now.

I am still so enamoured with my dahlias.They are the longest blooming flowers I have ever had.
I won’t collect millions.I am happy with my varieties.I do want to add a ball/pompom one that will go perfectly with mine..
For next yr.
Last year my sage did not return .I bought the most insidious little two inch pot…This Spring ..It is now at least two feet high by two feet wide.I brought in little bunches but today..a big bouquet drying in a wicker basket..
Our skies are magnificent these days..Magnificent.
I went to a fave autumn spot earlier but we are not there yet.Not even close.
One of my trees is starting..but again not peak.
Cherry tomatoes are done,they are splitting now..
I really was not crazy about mine..a great harvest but I found them large and mealy.

Camille and Claude are always color coordinated..
In fact she picks out his clothes to match hers.
Every get together every outing.
He draws the line at stay home days.
She is extremely controlling..However after 40 years he is used to her ways.
In their home,same.
Color palette of blues throughout.
Could be worse☺️
Gardens abound with Plumbago…Lavender,blue irises.Blue clematis,her favorite,Bluebird.
Asters and violets,morning glories and centaurea.
Forget-me-nots and so on.
Could be worse☺️

Noémie and Cassandra..the best of friends.Summer is coming to an end but still some very warm days wearing sundresses.Fleece will soon be apparel then snowsuits and boots.
They are friends in all seasons.
They know that the only way to have a friend is to be one.
Wise words💕
I love painting children most of all I think.

It’s chilly and grey here so I decided to paint🧑‍🎨
But I wanted to tell you about these cookies.We both even love the bought ones..But I will not buy again.In France I kept them in the kitchen for coffee..and I have bought them in European stores here.Mme Poulard ones.
I saw @gabrielacreatesjoyfully make them and I knew I had to 🧈
They are just as good if not better because they are so fresh,no additives and made in my kitchen.
I love her feed.
This recipe is a keeper.

I know twice in one day…
But I came in from gardening..and had this idea in my head that showed up on my page,it is called embossing and makes a frame like effect.
Even my husband said he liked it.
Her name @sabine.yurtluk ,the artist.
It is a great idea enough to immediately inspire me using a portion of a photo @michael_le_flaneur took.
It took minutes..but in the end I was happy..Because of the embossed frame and tiny painting I think.
I love this world where we share and learn.
I did comment on the artist’s post..thanking her.

So much fun.
