‘Fragments’ is a track that’s stuck with me ever since @itsoraclemusic and I crafted it together many months ago.

Time has a way of scattering even our most important memories into abstract bits • no matter how desperately we try to hold on to them.

It’s strange how sad that can be • and yet how much comfort we can find in accepting it • even as our memories become little more than memories of the memories themselves.

And maybe that’s what makes sad music so beautiful. It gives us permission to feel loss, love, gratitude, frustration, confusion, comfort • all at once.

Maybe those feelings aren’t as contradictory as they seem.

my friend @rowlandgiles and I made you a song

'Fragments' is about loss, and how memories of someone we love often slowly break into smaller pieces. We remember what we felt, but it gets harder to bring those feelings fully back as time marches on. We hope this song will help people feel less alone in that experience, and will remind them that remembering less doesn’t mean we loved any less 🤎 by @monstercatsilk

“Halfway” - out today on @monstercatsilk

I’ve admired both @terrotunes and @ms.ninacarr for a long time, so when Cam sent me Nina’s beautiful vocal earlier this year asking me if I wanted to work on it with him, I had to pinch myself a bit. We all clicked creatively and had a finished draft in maybe two weeks.

All three of us have had a very meaningful year for a variety of reasons - I’m so glad that we could all come together during it and create something special. Swipe through to see a few of our favorite memories from the past few months, and we hope you love our track 🧡 by @monstercatsilk

“She Sleeps In Reverb” is an EP about someone whose presence has settled in the background of your life. They are no longer the center of your story, but they live on in the small things - like the music I make, or the roads you drive, the sunsets you notice. The memory doesn’t hurt anymore, it simply resonates. Like reverb, some moments don’t end when they are over, they gently fade into silence. The EP is about the beauty of memories that continue to colour the present. It’s less about loss and more about gratitude for having experienced something meaningful.

Where are You - Out Now
I didn’t set out to write Where Are You, it came together almost by accident. A new friend I’d just met picked up the mic for fun, and the best parts of that night turned into the song. Good things tend to show up when you’re not looking for them. by @monstercatsilk

“I’m really excited to share this new track ‘Cape Calm', created together with @Flexible_Fire

A beautiful meeting of two styles, where melodies and harmonies found their own quiet space. The result is a serene, atmospheric track — created with care, trust, and a lot of joy. It’s been such a pleasure to create this together.

I hope you’ll love the result as much as we do. " taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @monstercatsilk
