“A Place I Know” lives in a moment from the past; one packed with memories and holding a spot in your soul that time will never change. It’s a quiet reminder of who we used to be, where everything from back then still feels so real, proving that some places aren’t just spots on a map, but moments saved in us forever.

‘A Place I Know’ is finally out, as a part of Monstercat Silk Selections 09 Compilation! This really is one of my personal favourites, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! ♥️

@aftruu (aka Enviado Vida) and I have known each other for a long time, but we haven’t been able to work together. One day Maxim sent me a draft demo, which I finished very quickly. In my opinion, it turned out quite warm, and it’s a melancholic melodic‑house piece with organic elements. That’s how the track titled “What It Takes To Know” came to be, and it was released today on @monstercatsilk 🧡

‘Fragments’ is a track that’s stuck with me ever since @itsoraclemusic and I crafted it together many months ago.

Time has a way of scattering even our most important memories into abstract bits • no matter how desperately we try to hold on to them.

It’s strange how sad that can be • and yet how much comfort we can find in accepting it • even as our memories become little more than memories of the memories themselves.

And maybe that’s what makes sad music so beautiful. It gives us permission to feel loss, love, gratitude, frustration, confusion, comfort • all at once.

Maybe those feelings aren’t as contradictory as they seem.

“Fragments” is out now 🤍 on @monstercatsilk

my friend @rowlandgiles and I made you a song

'Fragments' is about loss, and how memories of someone we love often slowly break into smaller pieces. We remember what we felt, but it gets harder to bring those feelings fully back as time marches on. We hope this song will help people feel less alone in that experience, and will remind them that remembering less doesn’t mean we loved any less 🤎

Greetings! This week's episode marks a special landmark - six years since I began this series. I've created hundreds of mixes since I put out the first episode at age 19. Very grateful for all the wonderful artists and fans it's allowed me to connect with for more than half a decade.

Anyhow, it's all about the music, right? This week's set (it's on my YouTube channel, link in bio) features another slew of beautiful progressive house tunes. Wanted to create something warm and cozy as we transition into Autumn. Hope everyone enjoys! Appearing artists are tagged in this post
