As a musician sometimes it feels like social media is the only way to go but… is it really?
.
For this one I decided to do a little experiment:
Melting away in the studio during one of London’s hottest summers whilst working on our latest single “COLD” sparked this silly idea of a marketing campaign.
.
I printed out 100 of these, put them up with the help of some amazing friends during the last heatwave and these are the results 10 days later.
.
I knew that some people would be disappointed of finding out it was music and not a cold beer or an ice cream, but I also knew some of them would still be curious enough to press play.
.
I also knew the numbers wouldn’t be huge but I firmly believe that for those who enjoyed what they found, this experience will be more memorable than discovering a song through a meta add.
.
I also posted on social media and even though we received likes and comments, the results speak for themselves…
.
Overall I am lowkey impressed with the results and excited to try more real-life-ways to reach new listeners ( I know y’all are out there, just need to find yous)

Some of my favourite triplet variations 🧹

Still gotta polish some of those accents on brushes but I love using these, specially the paradiddles 👌🏼
