⚾️ There’s more than one way to make it to the major leagues👀🔥
♦️During our overnight trip to Boston, students stepped inside historic Fenway Park and experienced the ballpark from a whole new perspective🔥 We sat in some of Fenway’s oldest seats, toured different sections of the facility, visited the box office and press areas, and learned what it takes to operate one of baseball’s most iconic ballparks.

♦️We also connected with members of the HR team, who introduced students to careers within the sports industry and encouraged them to think about the many possibilities ahead as they continue their education.

Visiting Fenway was more than a tour. It was a chance to experience history, explore careers, and expand what our students can envision for their futures.

Our philosophy is simple: The more our students see, the more they know is possible🚀🎓⚾️

🪶✨ Walking through history to learn from the past and carry its lessons forward.

Our Upward Bound students traveled to Plymouth, Massachusetts, for an unforgettable visit to Plimoth Patuxet Museums, where history came to life through an immersive living-history experience. Students explored the stories, traditions, and daily lives of the Indigenous peoples of the region and the English colonists, gaining a deeper understanding of the different perspectives that shaped this chapter of American history.

Beyond the classroom, experiences like this spark curiosity, encourage thoughtful reflection, and remind us that history is more than what we read in a textbook—it’s about people, perspectives, and the stories that continue to shape our world today. 🪶📚✨

Another memorable experience filled with learning, exploration, and discovery! ❤️

🧬🔬 Exploring where science can take you!
At MIT’s Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, our students toured labs, tried a hands-on experiment, and met researchers turning their passion for science into impactful careers.

The goal was bigger than learning about cancer research. It was about showing our students that science can open doors to exciting college paths, careers, and possibilities they may not have considered before. 🧪✨

Safe to say it was a morning full of discovery, and maybe a few future scientists in the making! 👀✨

Our Boston trip was all about seeing and experiencing the city from a different perspective🏙️✨

A visit to View Boston gave our students a bird’s-eye view of the city, where they could take in Boston’s landscape, spot familiar landmarks, and see how the places we explored connect from an entirely new point of view.

Experiences like this remind us that sometimes, a change in perspective can help us see and appreciate the world around us in a whole new way💙
