We just completed the entire Allagash Wilderness Waterway, conquering The North Maine Woods! It took us 6 days to paddle 92 miles north. Hiking deep from every campsite I found 1 moose antler and a cow moose skull! 🥾 🫎 Im gonna release videos from the trip starting with this legendary fog day where we saw our 1 and only moose sighting. This was the most LEGENDARY morning of my life. Ive seen hundreds of moose in 6 years and this was my first time seeing one swim! Trip of a lifetime and im super proud of the entire team, WE DID IT🙏🏽💪🏽! I called in this young bull moose to the tent after 2 days of failed attempts. 10 minutes after making cow moose calls Kyle and I heard him come out the swamp and magically appear next to my truck. He was about 20 feet from us. ON MY MOOSE RIVER CANOE ADVENTURE MY GUT LED ME TO A BEAUTIFUL BULL MOOSE DEADHEAD. I initially had a rough start losing my favorite sunglasses to Holeb pond 30 seconds after putting in😭. Im not materialistic but those Mooseman shades were special to me. Eventually my team and I stopped to take lunch. Instead of eating I ran back to the canoe to fetch my antler boots because something about these woods told me to search. With no initial luck I switched paths and eventually discovered a leg bone that was pretty well hidden. When I finally tracked down more bones my team was simultaneously whistling for me to return back to the canoes, I was out of time on the verge of tracking down this moose. Torn between 2 paths I had to swiftly pick an exit. Trusting my instincts I went with the path closest to the river and it led me to a sight with more bones and some ANTLERS. I was not expecting a find like this and im so grateful for my connection with the @mooselands . You never know what is out there and you WONT unless you lace up those boots and start searching! #moose #shedhunting #mainething #deadhead #nature (yes I have a permit for the skull) taken in Moose River, Maine by @moosemandrew

MOUNT KATAHDIN. THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN MAINE. 5,269 feet. THE MAINE FINAL BOSS! If you are an outdoor adventurer and haven’t hiked this mountain yet then you are missing out and this is your reminder to lace those boots and gather your friends. Im so proud of my entire team! Very thankful for a safe journey and great weather, the lands always bless us. This weekend for the first time ever I will be climbing mount Katahdin. This mountain is the biggest in Maine, 5,269 feet. back in mountain moose mode! LETS GOO. If I dont respond after 5pm today I wont have service until Sunday. Have a blessed weekend! by @moosemandrew

The Mooseman’s gut never fails. While canoeing Moose River I went for a search at one of the campsites and found something legendary!! Year of the deadheads for me!! I used my instincts to track down the skull after finding some leg bones. Almost done with canoeing, I will post footage tomorrow.
