Where are the investors at!? 💋
We’re looking to open a permanent MOP, and we’d love to hear from anyone that might be able to help us make it happen!
We aim on creating an inviting, gorgeous, bold and delicious space aimed at everyone.
More of our food that you all love, more often, and in our own stunning restaurant. We want to build a space that people want to spend time in, not just for special occasions! 🩷
I grew up in Margate, and love what the town has become, and being able to watch it grow first hand has been amazing! It’s about time we threw our hat into the ring and built something in the community we know and love.
If you’re a fan and want to invest and get involved or know someone with a phat wallet/purse who wants to get in on a sure thing then slide into our DMs! Or email 💌MOPMARG8@GMAIL.COM
Or just share this post and send it to all your mates! Hopefully we’ll all be sipping Margs and Mopping up plates soon.

In just a year we’ve served you in the Turner for two months, we gave you street food out the bus cafe in the heat of summer, ran multiple sell out supper clubs, taken over High Dive, Hoffs and Bar Nothing.
And catered for some stunning events including our own wedding! And we’re still going.
Thank you everyone that’s shown so much love and support for what we’re doing 🩷
Without it we wouldn’t be able to keep at it.
Still space for bookings for our upcoming @bar_ingo_broadstairs takeover!! Link in bio, DM if you have any issues 💖
Tell your friends, grab your lovers, and if you haven’t come yet then wot r u doin!

Anyone that’s new here, or has been meaning to eat with us and hasn’t made it yet!
Here’s a bit about what we do 🩷
MOP focuses on creating bold, naughty and sumptuous food. With a focus on sustainability, using seasonal local produce, and elevating it with inspiration and techniques from our favourite cuisines!
We love middle eastern and Chinese food, so we enjoy putting our spin on some of our faves!
We always aim to make our services fun, relaxed and not intimidating! Our food might look and taste fancy, but our prices are not! We want MOP to be as assessable as possible.
When we can, we create cocktails using ingredients from the food menu and waste products from the kitchen! We use as much of what we have as possible, creating condiments, garnishes and new dishes, from ingredients that usually go to waste, making innovative, fun and gorgeous dishes you want to eat!
Book a table now for our next event!

Was a pleasure to cater for Lois & Jimmy’s gorgeous wedding last weekend!
Stunning, seasonal platters piled high.
We were the couples first date night when they moved to Margate, also at the Turner! So a really sweet full circle moment.
Thank you so much to our lovely team!
And make sure you hit up the newly wedds for @__sarns__ & @soilstudio___ 🩷

We’re gagging to get back in the kitchen and serve you some more plates!
Something we’ve been playing around with is a take on enchiladas! 🌮These ones were stuffed with rich spicy black beans, before being covered in a deep, punchy sauce made from different dried and charred chillies, then finished with a bright salsa verde, avocado and sumac pickled onions. Ridiculous, moorish, and definitely something we’re hoping to get on our next menu! 🩷

Another Date Night done 🩷 The atmosphere on the bus on Saturday was amazing, if not a little bit mental.
150 dishes up and down the bus stairs 😭 Thank you everyone that came! We didn’t have time for any content, so here’s some photos of our food after service on our lil digi cam!

Happy international woman’s day to all you wonderful people! But most of all to my wife and better half of MOP.
Who dived straight in with no kitchen experience to help me get all this started, couldn’t do MOP without you, and I wouldn’t want to try.
The face of the business (smart move), chief food taster, front of house manager, sous chef, delivery driver, emotional support, sound board and everything in between. Can’t wait to have our own space, and watch you dance around it 🩷

A few dishes from the archives!
We switch it up each time, so we’ve done a lot of dishes since MOP started. Writing menus, testing and coming up with new ideas constantly in between events.
It’s a lot of work, but it’s how we like to cook. Bold surprising flavours, influences from different cuisines, using local seasonal produce, creating gorgeous plates you’ll want to mop up.
Anyone got a favourite dish we’ve served in the past? Maybe we’ll bring it back! 🤷🏻‍♂️
