Amazon prime’s “the futurist” film on fc mother just dropped its trailer. Shot over 2 years in Brazil, Mexico, and the US. Sharing our origin story, our Harvard lab, my story, and the impulse behind fc mother: a devotion to bring soul, elite science and teamwork to maternal health. I find these reflections on the invention impt: right brain, whole systems, counter intuitive thinking; cultivating deeper truths where the power lies to breakthrough. But I find the soul behind the invention most impt to share as a remembrance: It is absurd that our mothers are not at the center of our social architecture. It is disgraceful that we violate so many mothers. It is dumb that we don’t have the village caring for mothers. It is stupid at this point to sanitize deep fractures and call it something academic like a “pain point”. All of this is upside down. When you learn the science of the “developmental origins of disease,” you see that the civilizational fractures we are living through right now originate exactly at the maternal fracture we inflict on our Mothers. Working at the root, we’re activating a culture shift through fc mother that reflects our Mothers love. Very grateful to all our partners, believers, and friends. And to our Mothers ❤️‍🔥 @fc.mother @primevideo @iankhanfuturist @pauloignaciojr @omya.community @omanirosecarson @jeaniecarson @fareed.wesam @sdorrellflores by @morad.fareed

it is said the poet Rilke heard these words while staring at the bust of Apollo i too heard them descending into Mecca about to make Umrah: “You must change your life.” 13,000 generations distilled in 5 words embodied now in year 46. Alhamdulillah 🤲🏽📿🌀 “I’ve been circling around God The ancient tower For a 1,000 years And still I do not know: Am I a falcon, a storm, or a great song.” -Rilke by @morad.fareed

The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked: “who deserves my best treatment?”. Answer: “your mother”. “Then who?” Answer: “your mother.” 3rd time, “Then who?” The Prophet (ﷺ) replied once more: “your mother.” I don’t know why. Almost everyone I’ve met in the last decade is confused by the topic of mothers. We have a major crisis and it is beyond health; it is spiritual. Cultural. Personal and collective. We’ve broken the primordial bond. Life doesn’t work without the Mother as the most high ☝️. The remnants today are scraps and shrapnel we are left to piece together and call life. It is not working. Wake up. There is no judgment. Just truth. The root of our pain is a mother’s pain. I’ve seen this for 10 years in something so simple as maternal health. Thousands of examples 🌎. So many mothers Fractured. Struggling. Alone. Fighting 5 front wars to exist then needing to articulate in so so a way. I dont care who your prophet is. I want you to know underneath it is a Mother. Behind it is a Mother. Above it is a Mother. Because of it is a Mother. I don’t care who you think you are becoming. It is from a Mother you became. I don’t care what you’ve learned. It is a Mothers intelligence: you simply operate. She made this. We are privileged to be here. How to move forward now? Heal our Mothers to heal ourselves ☯️ @mahershalaali thank you for this blessed work brother, you are operating with such spirit and inspiration ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥✨✨✨☝️☝️☝️ by @morad.fareed

The Fareed Fund at Harvard School of Public Health is now offically 8 years old!!! 🎂🥳🎈 Our fund, the idea of my brilliant sister Cynthia @cynthiafareed, supports students from Palestine to attend Harvard and study maternal health🤰🏻🇵🇸♥️. Over the last 7 years, we have been lucky to support extraordinary Palestinian medical doctors and scientists, unified in helping awaken a global movement on better supporting our mothers. Our goal now: expand the fund to reach hundreds more brilliant fellows focused on healthier motherhood. It’s amazing to re-read my own words here from 2018 saying “pregnancy is a social issue, not a healthcare issue”. This is exactly why we later formed @fc.mother, to translate this public health issue into a new social support system powered by football ⚽️🏆💫. Thanks to @harvardchansph @juditaylorcantor for the extraordinary partnership and support over the years, and to many more ♾️🙏🏽🙌 by @morad.fareed

Mother: doesn’t just mean birth Mother. It’s your grandmothers, your greeeeat grandmothers. Your entire lineage of Mothers. It took the work of 12,000 Mothers to create every human alive today. Zoom out, think bigger. It means the Divine Mother. Concentrating on their guidance, blessings, and love, and finding ways to express gratitude to them every single day. To live upto their greatness is impossible. And that is the beauty of generational love - it guides you upward, ascending always, overcoming all obstacles, to be nearer to God. This is one of my Grand Mothers, on my last trip to Palestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸. We are farming Olives at our family farm. Her strength is in every cell. Her voice eternal. Her eyes see everything. Her hands work at the Root. She gives, she gives, she gives. Here she is receiving: picking an olive from a tree her Mothers seeded. And giving it to me. To hold and behold. The fruit and fruition. So that I learn what it takes to Become. To Hold it: you immediately download. An understanding of the gravity of Her eternal work. She taught me everything without saying a word. The Grand Mother. ❤️‍🔥🇵🇸 Why Mothers? Show me something more beautiful, and I’ll do that instead. Until then, stop asking so many questions. Think instead: how did I get here? By WHOM? 🧎🏻‍➡️📿🌹❤️‍🔥🧿 by @morad.fareed

Field: an open space where forces interact; a place where things grow; also a body of knowledge; and a place for competition. An energetic field: an invisible force field created by magnets. Magnetic forces colliding. Is there any better way to understand our beloved NYC than as a “field?”Or our mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani, than an electromagnetic force on a brand new field? The Mayor announced opening all football pitches 24/7 across NYC during the World Cup!! With some imagination, metaphysics, and raw unapologetic life force, a new physical reality is emerging: NYC as a healing field for our Mothers this World Cup. 🤰🏻♥️🌸⚽️🏆 by @morad.fareed
