Blackwater Falls by Ausma Zehanat Khan

A divisive book for sure. Abuse, Religion, Refugees, Politics, Murder, Police Corruption - for certain people, this read is going to make them a little mad.

I really enjoyed the mystery and the overall messaging. It was fairly detailed in many places which I felt really slowed the story down. I like my mystery’s and thrillers to be fast moving so that was a bit disappointing for me.

If you love to really chew on a story though, definitely pick this one up!
