I’ve been missing here! 💨
The day after our Grand Reopening we started a week’s vacation with two of our NH grandchildren.
Thankfully we rented an Airbnb close to home so the shop could stay open!
We were on Bolton Lake and only about 8 miles from our house!
Here’s a fun fact.. in the first clip you see a big house on the hill with a red chimney. That was OUR house for 17 years. It was nostalgic to see it from across the lake.
I did hours and hours of crafting and collaging with my girl. She helped get jewelry ready and worked the shop with me one day.
Our little guy…how cute is he?!
OBSESSED with Micheal Jackson and he danced the week away! 🕺
I took them thrifting so he could add some new belts and chains to his outfit.⛓️ I took a photo to make a collage of him doing the MJ lean! 😁
So much to do still to get settled into our new space but family time came first!
Now it’s back to work and time to restock the shop after a fantastic first week!

Come on in!! Ready or not! 😅
THREE WEEKS and 2 days ago we suddenly moved our previous shop into this new space!
“We” (not me😬) had to paint walls, rent a floor cleaner and then I had to semi frantically search FBM for more display pieces and then drive all over kingdom come.
In the middle of the three weeks we were away for a week’s vacation.
Are you kidding me?!
Our Grand Reopening is tomorrow 8/22!
Is everything perfectly ready? Hell no!
But come in (bring friends) and see the new digs. 💚
We’re BEAT but honestly proud of what we accomplished in three weeks.

Not only are we in the midst of moving the shop, but we have a baby due any minute!
My daughter Britt and her husband live with us so things are really changing around here!! 😳
Talk about an unexpected chapter in the book of life! My sidekick, schlepper, tech expert and chief negotiator is going to have her hands full!
And I can’t wait to cuddle a baby!! 🥰

Give me a laid back vaca doing whatever the hell I want at any moment 🤣🙌🏻😊.
For me that includes:
Views and beauty, cooking, conversation, music, cocktails, creating, art, vegging out and resting.
We’re fortunate to spend an annual vaca dog sitting on a little island off Maine for the besties.
How did WE get this job? 😁🤩
But we’re home now and the shop is open Saturday.

I did some porch sitting and painted a little piece to sell in the shop, all while sipping blueberry vodka 🫐 and limeade.💚
We stopped @woodlandgardensct and brought home PLANTS of course. 🌱
Dinner was my choice.. grilled steak and shrimp on cheesy grits and Mexican street corn salad. Yummm.
Pampering aside, motherhood is the greatest privilege of my life. 💚

I received a Valentine from a customer delivered through @downtownmanchesterct 💌 and yes- it’s a small gesture but it means a lot! ❤️
I’ve shopped downtown Manchester since I was a kid in the seventies! 😳 Eeek! 😊
We opened the shop in spring of ‘24.
Sometimes it still blows my mind we’re actually doing this!
I have FOND memories of so many downtown businesses through the years? How about you? I wanna hear your favorites too! 💚
