I’m not anti DNA testing , hence why I take them. These results are not easy to understand. Just LAST WEEK she was Mexican. Why can’t we be honest about what is going on here? People use these tests to find out who they really are, and some people cry when they get the results… some say “just take a test to prove where you are from.” But what if it changes every year? Then what? My grandma is 72% percent African according to the test this year, with over 16 different regions… this is why I claim Indigenous Black American. #ancestrydna #blackhistory by @morfboss

When she first took the test, it said she was mostly Cameroonian, then it said Nigeria. I understand migration patterns is what makes it change year to year (it’s not just more people in the database), but how can I say FOR SURE if I’m from a particular country based off the DNA results? I can’t! I can give you a continent based off DNA that’s it😂 now the PAPER trail is what tells me exactly what nation my ancestors belonged to! Genealogy is KEY!
