It baffles me how ignorant ppl can be. I know a lot of Black Immigrants don’t share his beliefs but for the ones that do… please be aware of how society (the white man lbs) has brainwashed you to believe you are better. They created a system so you look down on the same people your supposed to unite with. This is why Black Americans don’t always feel comfortable standing with all Black people because even in our race, there is this type of hierarchy that you are above us… which we know is a damn lie! Please stop being a pawn to the system.

You should never be so ignorant to forget the music, the customs, the clothing, the food, the culture, the RICHNESS of culture everyone yearns for, is on the back of a BLACK AMERICAN!

Black Americans are a lineage based ethnic group group of scattered tribes of tribes that formed into one ethnic group around the 1600 Americas. A large portion of us are the Descedant grandchildren of a European Anglo Saxon population and their amalgamated (Mulatto) children whose colored lines we broke. Our ancestry has always existed in all parts of the Americas both north and south and yes our African ancestors, about 300,000 or so, did complete our ethno-genesis. Race is pseudoscience.

The running joke that Black Americans claim that we are everything and yeah it’s true, we are literally tribes of scattered tribes. The Freedmen descendants.

The amalgamated ethnic Black American Swain family is alive and well today.

(The picture of William Swain is likely a painted depiction though the Swain colonial family has logged solid records online except that many records forget to outright mention that they were breeding their mulatto children into slavery. We will make the correction in our forth coming book.)

Scene from the 1991 American T.V show titled “The Royal Family”. Freedmen have you seen this series? There are some all stars in it! Can you guess the name of the child actress in the scene?

What happened to our American T.V and cinema? There was something so vibrant about our old work even if there was drama involved but now everything seems to have gotten quite dark and there is something missing.

When we talk about Black Americans being “African”, cc @vicmensa, this scene is an example of the extent of our African heritage. We did have about 300,000 or so ancestors from Africa but not only. BAs are a very European colonial population.

With immigration in the U.S we are sure that many African and other supposed people of color immigrants have blended into Black American spaces and/or have adopted a bi-ethnic identity.

Reminder, Black Americans are an amalgamation of tribes of scattered tribes in one American made ethnic group. Our ancestors came from the Americas, EU, Africa, etc. Our relative ancestry today is not that of all of our ancestors.

In my last post, I shared a video of and talked about the racist history of Mickey Mouse. I wanted to share another video that talks about the racist history of Mickey Mouse, along with Felix the cat, and also talk about the racism in some iconic Disney movies.

It’s important that we learn the TRUTH about history, and that includes the racism that is part of it.

According to an article I read on the Far Out Magazine website:

“Many racist caricatures, lyrics, and depictions of non-white people can be found in Disney movies aimed at children. Most commonly, animals were used to display stereotypes, and whether the creators of these films were consciously trying to be racist or not, this signalled a period in time when racist thinking was so normalised and unquestioned.”

“In Dumbo, the main crow in the film is voiced by a white actor, but he is portrayed with a voice that is stereotypically associated with African American vernacular. What’s more, in the original credits, the character was unbelievably called Jim Crow, referencing the racist law, which was also named after a minstrel character.”

“You would think that decades on from an era defined by segregation and rampant racism that Disney would learn from its mistakes, but unfortunately, you can still see their use of animal characters to promote racial stereotypes in 1994’s The Lion King. The hyenas, Shenzi and Banzai, are portrayed as evil, their voices clearly reflecting accents possessed by people of non-white identities. Disney depicts these characters as savages rather than cunning and smart villains, marking a stark contrast between them and other characters.”

“There is also the issue of whitewashing in Pocahontas, which tells the tale of a real-life Native American girl who was severely mistreated by white people. Yet, in Disney’s film, her brutal history is given shiny Hollywood treatment, ignoring the bleak reality of her story.”
