I say this with my whole heart, to anyone who makes cabinets, you are a top tier human. For our first project, we are pretty stoked with how this closet organizer turned out as a result of late nights and lots of head scratching. @cameronlcole came up with the pipe clothes hanger and it turned out so good! This means we are officially done living out of plastic totes and things are finally starting to feel homey. Ok it’s too quiet at our house, ready for my best friends to come back 🫶🏼 (this song only makes sense because we listened to it 100x over a week) by @morganlcole

Just a girl, a Purdy brush, a couple of sketchy “ladder” placements and she’s finally painted! We went with the color “Cast Iron” from Sherwin Williams. I ended up color drenching the whole thing instead of trimming it out and it was so much more simple. However, I would 100% not recommend hand brushing your home but for some reason, the good Lord blessed me with determination to match my delusions and these are the projects I find myself elbow deep in. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GUY! ❤️‍🔥
It is my ultimate flex to be married to a man who can just “figure” anything out. I truly haven’t come across something he can’t do (and trust me, I’m keeping track). He’s just the best person I know and I literally couldn’t imagine anything better than getting to come home to Cameron Cole every dang night. I hope we get to hang out together everyday until we die. by @morganlcole

Officially retired as a traveler! We sold our trailer and I took a full time job at the VA. I’ve been doing traveling work since 2022; taken 10 contracts, lived in 6 different states, met a bunch of amazing people, fell in love with so many places we’d never have even thought to visit (Cooperstown, ND I’m looking at you!). In a way it makes me so sad to settle down because I’ve come to enjoy our rotating 13 week “routine”. Very thankful for the opportunities the travel life has given us but very much looking forward to coming HOME every night 🏠 by @morganlcole

After my silly little wallpaper fail, feels good to get this bad boy done. I really love the look of the hood because it doesn’t distract from the cabinets but looks natural. Just use your imagination on the backsplash because she won’t be installed for a while (and prepare for a controversial choice) 😈 #diy #renovation #fixerupper #kitchenremodel by @morganlcole

Showing the reality of our home projects but this one was so disappointing.
My beautiful wallpapered bathroom now goes back to the drawing board. The paper almost immediately started coming up at the seams even after prepping the walls with dedicated wallpaper primer. The bubbles were all over and no amount of rolling would smooth them out. I tried reapplying with 3M adhesive spray, super gluing the edges, paint matching the seams but nothing helped. It started looking really tacky so off she went! Definitely a sad day because it was so pretty but that’s the life of a DIYer.

My take on an appliance garage ✨
When designing our new kitchen, I knew I wanted an appliance garage. But I wasn’t going to pay the extra $1k each cabinet for dedicated appliance garage cabinets 🙈 We ended up using standard wall cabinets, cutting out the bottoms, setting them on the counter and securing them to the wall which I think works out pretty nicely. After a little brainstorming with @cameronlcole we thought how about making one side a coffee nook? After going to Italy, we use our Nespresso daily which leaves us with two coffee machines (don’t come after us for our standard Mr. Coffee pot). I love the way it turned out! It helps reduce counter clutter and maybe hides how much coffee we drink ☕️ #fixerupper #homerenovation #coffee #coffeenook #kitchendesign by @morganlcole

January was a couple of house projects, a lot of animals, a little gym going and experimenting with gluten-free recipes. I usually hate January’s (me 🤝🏼 post Christmas depression) but something about sunshine and a tiny puppy somehow keeps the blues away 🤍☀️❄️ by @morganlcole

We finally completed one room in our house!
The smallest but debatably most disgusting room in the house has finally been transformed. Choosing bold colors is totally unlike me but I’m so happy how it turned out. After 4 years in an RV bathroom, this feels like luxury. #bathroomremodel #bathroom #renovation #diy #wallpaper #farmhouse by @morganlcole
