Dipping every day in October for Surfers Against Sewage and the amazing work they do campaigning to clean up our coastal waters, has so far not got me to the actual sea.
But my morning bathtime in freezing springwater surely counts? At least I can guarantee it's clean.
Please consider donating to help the good work they do. 💙
Link to donations page in the comments.

We're also holding a mass lobby in Cardigan on the 22nd October to keep the pressure up for the Clean Water Bill. Fisherman's Rest, 10 til 4, and you can show support for the newly drafted Teifi Charter too💙 by @moriathglass

Me and a bit of bone and the glass it inspired.

I'm always picking things up on walks. Can't remember where I found this gem, but it sat in my workbench for a few weeks before I made a template and cut some glass to see if the shape would work. It did.

Now up for sale in my space that sells things.
Link in bio.

I was in @thebaygallery in Aberystwyth yesterday and thought I'd share something of the feel of the place. Filled with wonderful pieces created by friends, you must visit if you haven't already.

It's been my turn to be in charge at @crafts.alive today in Llandeilo, listening to The Folk Show on repeat and chatting to lovely visitors.

These are a couple of pieces I have there at the minute - some new(ish) collaged memory panels- and some other gems that caught my eye.

In between kilns. One nearing the end of its cycle, one loaded up ready to fire. I always speak to them and wish them a happy firing. And sometimes I wave. Hello, goodbye.

These little panels are a new shape, inspired by a fragment of animal bone I found on a walk - more of that another time. I've stopped being surprised by what inspires me and how it informs my glass.

They're having their second firing now, and will be ready by the end of the week after a final firing. Should I knuckle down and get them on the website?

Bubbles, rivers, river rights💙
All looping round and round and round💙

I'm a little bit in love with this panel, but i have relinquished my hold and sent it out to the great wide world. Which currently is Llanerchaeron.

The silver leaf alchemy within the glass gas worked its wondrous magic especially well with this one.

I never will master minimalism. My spaces are always a celebration of colour and abundance, whether it's an event or my home.

And how great it is to hear rain on the roof. I hadn't really realised how much I missed the damp - the scent and sight of it. Walking on dropped, dead, crunchy beech leaves mid-August was so wrong. Damp grass between my toes is a welcome return. taken in Cwm-Pengraig, Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom by @moriathglass
