hi new friends! i figured it was time to reintroduce myself — my name is annie moriktot heng, the face behind Morikot Ink. i’m a chinese, cambodian american who specializes in fine line & microrealism tattoos right here in the Central Valley! i started my tattoo journey in 2022 after looking all over california for a fine line artist for myself & realizing CA was so limited!
Utah houses some of the most amazing fine line artists & somehow (impulsively) i booked a training not knowing where it would take me, but i was happy to be learning something new! i came home after an amazing training & have not stopped tattooing ever since! it’s been 3yrs! after several trainings under some amazing artists, i definitely feel like i’ve found my style, my strengths & we really never stop growing & learning when it comes to art. some fun facts about me:
• i have my Bachelor’s in Psychology from SFSU
• i have 2 kids 🐶🐶 Nala, my 10yo frenchie, & Maru, my 4yo maltipoo. they’re my entire world!
• Morikot means Emerald in Khmer. you’ll see accents of emerald green all over the studio!
• i’m a big yapper so expect to tell your life story during our appointments, or just tell me to shutup & that works too lol

if you’ve been here with me since the very beginning (brows, body sculpting, literally all the services under the sun lol) THANK YOU! & i love you dearly! if you’re new here, WELCOME! im so excited to meet you!
