FROM FAMS TO JIYONG PROJECT 🩷
@gdragon_international

[ longer version ]

dear jiyong,

i was still a kid the first time i laid my eyes on you. and, in a way, so were you. though i’m sure both of us hold those kids close to our hearts, not much of life and the world has stayed the same… experiences and hardships have inevitably changed the way we are and look at the world. however, through every change, every twist and turn in my life, one thing has never changed: my love and admiration for you. the eyes of my younger self reflect on my adult self’s every time i look at you, and loving you now feels just as effortless as 15 years ago, like a quiet familiar light that’s always there, steady and warm, a comfort i can return to no matter what shifts around me.

there are so many words to describe you, yet none feel big enough to explain what you mean to me. you’ve always been the one who’s good with words anyway, so let us keep it that way… all I know is that, as seasons pass by, my love for you grows each day, yet something else grows even bigger – my gratitude. gratitude for your existence. for your courage. for your art. thank you for choosing music. thank you for choosing bigbang. thank you for choosing us. thank you for becoming g-dragon, while also remaining kwon jiyong through it all.

i’m sorry if being our idol has not always been easy. i’m sorry for the silent tears you may have shed and the battles you fought alone. i hope that from now on, our flower road will be softer beneath your feet, that fewer thorns wait along the way, and that joy blooms endlessly around you.

you have been my quiet refuge, the place my heart returns to when the world feels too heavy. because i can rely on you, life feels lighter and more beautiful. so please, both in your brightest days and in your darkest nights, rely on us too.

i love you with all my heart and with all the words i will never be able to find. stay kwon jiyong – fam’s family. always.

with all the love and standing right next to you,

kwonjifam

another win for my vipcarat, i couldn't resist posting this 🥹 during v8's live concert today in goyang, minghao and vernon performed fantastic baby for their encore. fellow seventeen members dokyeom and dino, who were watching the show, joined them on stage and they all vibed to bigbang together!! can't explain what dokyeom and vernon rapping top's part did to me 🤭

and to think bigbang were once the juniors who performed their seniors' songs, but nowadays they're a group younger generations grew up with and look up to 💛

i always think about jiyong but somehow i still miss him all the time T ^ T on the days i'm busy and don't get the chance to post or talk about him, part of me is constantly restless as if i'm forgetting to do something very important . . gdragon landed in incheon earlier today after his trip to london. he was probably busy his whole time there but i'm glad he could at least be somewhere else and enjoy some time with his team. now that he's home, back to his kids iye and zoa, i hope he gets proper rest before going back to work~ goodnight our @xxxibgdrgn <3 i love you always !

iye, who during many dark moments, was the only one there for our jiyongie~ i think quite often about this moment and how he did not care about anyone else in the room... look at his cute big eyes full of love when he reunites with his human again 🩵
