TL; DR: “The Baltimorons” won the SXSW Narrative Spotlight Audience Award, and I love the cast and crew with all my heart.

Now the overly long shout-outs, PT 1:

Absolutely inspired by @jayduplass and @strasshola , jumping through a tiny window of shooting time post-strike and pre-Christmas ‘23 to pull the trigger and roll the dice on a 16-day shoot with minimal prep in the literal coldest weather I’ve ever been in.

Michael, to know the full circle you’ve come from the events of the first shot of the movie to the absolute joy of the standing O at your premiere, I’m so proud and honored to be a part of helping tell your story.

Jay, to think that the first time we met would be kicking off a record of 4 features together in 1 year’s time - all with insanely different budgets and genres and locations. It’s the Jay Grand Slam. I’ll do anything for you! Including spend my birthday in 1 degree temperatures overnight on a boat - when you had to take over camera operating duties with no notice.

@davidbonnett , you’re the real mayor of Baltimore. There wasn’t a door you couldn’t open or a local you couldn’t smooth talk. I remember us rushing to finish a sidewalk exterior in front of a house and the owners finally opened their door, and we were sure they’d tell us to scram… and instead they asked if we’d all like fresh Christmas cookies.

@lizthelarsen , I can’t think of anyone else in this role. And my favorite moments after intense scenes are you laughing or making stew and me realizing that, indeed, this was a character you crafted who is very different than the gregarious theater gal lighting up the townhouse.

@marycgarrison , thank you for taking a train with zero notice to drop in and steal the movie just when it needed some manic, possibly hypersexed, Ravens fan energy.

@yehan123 , you’re the greatest 2nd AD because you’re everything I’m not - hyper-organized, a workaholic, lightning fast with any paperwork, and a deadpan Grinch. Thank you for hiding on the boat with an insane boat driver, standing in for an 8 year-old, and always making me cry in appreciation, even if you did steal the cozy hotel room from me. taken in SXSW by @mountaindrewlanger

You know, it’s your basic Christmas rom-dram-com.

“A live action Charlie Brown with hair.”

“The Baltimorons”

What an incredible journey to watch @strasshola and @jayduplass take an idea to a script and then join @davidbonnett to help produce it in a whirlwind 16-day on-location shoot (with 25 locations?)! And 1 degree temperatures.

Working on cast & crew shout-outs, but currently just so proud / relieved / excited to see this incredible arc shared in front of an audience.

(And the Hollywood Reporter review is awesome but spoils the whole film - so just watch the movie first!) taken in SXSW by @mountaindrewlanger

@bridgeteverett is @variety #26 greatest TV performance of this century!!

Incredible recognition for such a subtle, authentic, joyous, and heartbreaking performance from someone who could’ve coasted on a rom-com route but chose raw honesty at all cost.
