This is the part I wanted for them.

Not just the kiss. Not just finally hearing the words — although those were *very* well earned, and you know I loved every second of it. 😂 But this!

Elizabeth Thornton reaching for Nathan Grant without hesitation. Nathan knowing he doesn’t have to wonder anymore.

No more almost. No more wrong time. No more standing on opposite sides of everything they were too afraid to say.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching a love story unfold the way Elizabeth and Nathan’s has and finally getting to see these two simply be happy in it.

A little fun Friday FAN EDIT because, in my mind, Nathan Grant was always going to get married in his serge.

I know I can’t be the only one who sees Nathan getting married like THIS…❤️ (or maybe I’m on serge 🏝️ alone 😂)

Don’t get me wrong, navy suit Nathan is very handsome 🫠 But when I picture Nathan and Elizabeth’s wedding, my mind goes back to the heart of their story: the Mountie and the teacher. Simple. Them. Full of love, family, and friends. (Honestly I’ll take them eloping…just get it done! 😂)

Nathan is a man and a father first, but his sense of duty, honor, and service is such a deeply rooted part of who he is. He wears that serge with pride, even if we all know he’d probably rather be in literally anything more comfortable 😉

And somehow, seeing him standing beside Elizabeth in it just feels…right. Like their story coming full circle. ❤️

Everything led to this moment. Every loss. Every heartbreak. Every test. ❤️

Elizabeth Thornton has been through more than her share of pain.

She’s lost.
She’s grieved.
She’s had to find her footing again when the life she thought she’d have disappeared.

And we’ve been there for all of it.

We’ve watched the heartbreak. We’ve felt the frustration. We’ve endured the waiting. And yes…sometimes we’ve probably yelled at our screens wondering how much longer it was going to take. 😂

But through so much of it, there was Nathan Grant.

Sometimes beside her. Sometimes waiting in the shadows. Never forcing what wasn’t ready to be given.

Just…there.

A constant strength. A safe place. A steady presence. A man whose love didn’t disappear when things got complicated.

And maybe that’s why this moment means so much.
